[Resolved] Tata Sky — Installation Delay 15 days | |||
I had purchased Tata Sky HD DVR for 3999 on 21st feb 2011. I was told that installation would be complete by 25 or 26 of Feb. Since then I have called many times. I get a commitment for this evening, or tomorrow morning and nobody shows up. I filed a complaint with Tata Sky on 26 and then on March 6. The complaint numbers are 1-[protected] and 1-[protected]. On March 6 morning, I talked to a supervisor (team leader) named Mr Akram. He is based in Hyderabad. He said we will contact you before 12 Noon and get the installation done by 3PM. At 12:30 PM, I called the customer care number and I talked to another supervisor named Ms Swapna. She said the team doesn't work today and so we cannot give any commitment for installation today. It will take another 48 hours for them to call me back and update on my status. So the installation is probably further away. The staff at Tata Sky is fairly incompetent and give out commitment lies just to get us off their back. They do not have any plans to work on your complaint and will take their own sweet time. If you have the option of going with any other provider like DishTV or Airtel, you should try that out. Tata Sky sales and support team sucks... big time... Was this information helpful? | |||
