TAXI — Refused to Come.

I was at Shree Ram mill at worli asking for Taxi to Curry rd Station. Many taxi people dont come to the destination. I have taken the taxi no : MH-01 X 5093. Suggest.

TAXI — Taxi Meter Tempered

Last night I boarded on Taxi MH01.X.2112 from domestic airport Mumbai to Arthur Road, normally the fare is around Rs 200. however I was quoted around Rs. 450. The Taxi Meter was absolutely tempered.

last night boarded on taxi no WB 04 C 2775 from salt lake to birla mandir.
Normally the meter is usually 135, but charged rs 200, meter was absolutely tampered.

I want to lodge a complaint against 3 of the cabbies was not ready to drop me at lower parel from CST Station, when i asked him about the fairs they said will be 250 rs whereas it takes 90rs max from cst to lower parel....

the cab driver refused to take us to churchgate station. after threatening we four girls left the taxi in a hurry leaving behind a Westside shopping bad. the taxi was an Omni van with the registration number MH02 531_

A faulty meter is observed in taxi (model Ambassador) number 04A3907 while travelling from Ultadanga to SaltLake Sector-V,Kolkata.
The number of taxi s with faulty meter is increasing day by day at an alarming rate.

I am availing taxi for last 15 days to go to office i.e. from Garia Padmasree taxi stand to DLF Rajarhat. I take taxi at around 7:45 in the morning and meter reading is 89 everyday. But today I took a cab today (Cab No. : WB04E0319) and the meter reading came to 95. Moreover the taxi driver took Rs.200/- and did not give back the balance. I am sure he played some trick with the meter.

As mostly I travel through taxi, I have a rough idea of the meter reading. And today I found a huge difference from the usual reading. When I told this to the driver, he kept quite and gave a smile. Then thought to write on the forum. I dont know if anything will be done done to this complaints or not. If possible Govt should do a regular check on the meters of the taxi .

TAXI — TAXI union in my locality

I would like to notify that some group of taxi driver have created union in taxi stand in my locality i.e in Satragachi and in Betor. Just third stopage from Vidhaya sagar setu toll plaza. Whenever I will try for taxi they usually says will not be going. If they agree also they charge huge one. Those drivers doesn't agree to go in meter. Please suggest how to solve this problem.

TAXI — Wrong Meter Reading

I travelled from nicco park to aquatica in taxi number- WB 04B 6564. The taxi driver told me that it will take only Rs.80-90 only... When i reached the metered reading is 90 and he started quarelling that he told that meter read will be 80-90. When I asked near aquatica they told that they take 100 to come from nicco park.. The taxi metred showed me the wrong reading.. Hope you will see this complaint..

Hi , today I had to take a taxi from Borivali to Thane so i asked a taxi driver standing outside Borivali National park . He told me he would not go by meter but will charge flat Rs. 750.. Which according to me or any individual is not fair . I hope someone from the Taxi committee could look into this because they just cant charge us according to their wish ...

TAXI — theft

i took a taxi bearing no.WB04A6653 FROM KARUNAMOYEE,SALTLAKE,KOLKATA TO HOWRAH STATION.WE WERE TWO PEOPLE TOGETHER SO HE CHARGED US EXTRA, DENIED TO GO TO EXACT DESTINATION AND ALWAYS KEPT COMPLAINING THROUGHOUT THE JOURNEY.AT THE TIME OF BOARDING DOWN,HE THREW OUR LUGGAGES OUT AND RAN AWAY TAKING WITH HIM MY BAG CONTAINIG LAPTOP WITH SENSITIVE INFORMATION.KINDLY HELP ME TO GET MY LAPTOP BACK AND PUNISH THAT INDESCENT TAXI DRIVER.

I have traveled by a TAXI (Cab No - WB 04-C-6115) on dated 9th August, 2012 around 6.30 pm from Park cercus crosing (Kolkata) to Howrah Mandir tala area (Howrah 2). The meter reading after the journey was horrible and it read around 70KM which is almost extra distance and whereas the taxi had followed the normal regular route which normally covers around a maximum of 10-15km. Certainly the bill was around 50% extra. Once i alerted the driver about the thing, he just refused about the abnormality of his taxi meter. There are such taxis roaming within the Kolkata city with manipulated their meter and cheat the public. Its very much required to take action against them.

He want Rs. 30/- extra out of meter. Meter have to come 50/ - 55/-. But meter come Rs. 130/-.
