You are right tikona is the most fraud broadband company they have taken my money and since last 3 months they have not installed internet connection. When i ask for refund on toll free number they dont have any answer their billing department never contacts me and there is no person who can tell me what has happened about my refund. I would suggest tikona that if they are in so desperate need for money then go and rob a bank but dont cheat public. All the tikona people are crooks. They like to you are rob you money. I thought I was going to be one of the few rare complainants.But 65 pages with 10 complaints on each make a whopping total of 650 for Tikona.Not counting the hundreds still in the pipeline.A record to rival Sachin Tendulkar's!
I was induced by a neighbour to be Tikona's client(She received the 250/- for inducing a new "Bakra" for the this Daylight Robber of an Internet Service Provider Co.)
A worker would come pick up my payment for the monthly bill at my doorstep, on an additional payment of Rs 20-30.Technical service was nothing to write home about, but I viewed this as a new company's teething problems, to improve with time.
On the last such visit, Santosh Pandey(Mo:[protected]) came to collect a due bill, plus a current month's payment, a total of 870/- for two months on 11/8/13.My next billing cycle would begin after 11/9/13.
He then sweet talked me into this .
He promised me a free months' bonus if I paid for 11 months' in advance.I did my Maths, and wrote him a Cheque for Rs.5370.@ the rate of 483/33, being an advance payment for the coming 11 months, plus the free bonus twelfth month.Meaning, my next bill will come only at the end of 30/September/2014.
Thankfully, both these payments were reflected in my statement on their log in page, as per usual, with slight differences of figures, that I attrubuted to taxation etc.
It was after a few days that I had my first shock, when I saw a huge deduction of Rs 1500/- from the advance amount of 5370/-.Figures didn't add up.So I called their so-called Customer Care Unit.Stupid people treating customers stupidly.She kept repeating the same bloody line that my billing was as per accounts, without explaining the huge deduction.So my Corporate climb began.I talked to a Nilesh, a Pradeep and God knows to who else.All equally unhelpful, equally eager to throw me off their backs.So finally I traced a J.Nair at their Appelate Office, one of the very few whose address was listed.Two e-mails went unanswered.A third angry one woke him up.He sent me a sweet e-mail, acknowledging my three mails, and promising to send me someone to sort out the mess.For the second time I got taken in by their sweet talk.I thought I would finally get some justice and decided not to pursue the aggressive confrontation.
To this day, I am waiting for someone to visit.Not only that, a further 670/- has been subtracted from the balance in their hands, without any sensible accounting.I fear they're aiming to empty my balance and then close my account, to rid them of my hassles.
Well, I know my rights as a consumer.
If TIKONA thinks it's owned by a son-in-law of a crooked leader, (At least that's their attitude)they haven't tangled with someone like me.
I intend to teach them a lesson they won't forget soon.All legal, all above board, and all ethical.
