Tikona — mental harrassement

Hi,
I took tikona connection in the month of oct/nov . The time I took connection I was facing technical difficulties. Annoyed with their services I asked them to disconnect my connection and had word with tikona guys that I'll pay the bill for the time I used, not for the time I faced technical difficulties, They agreed to it with the amount of 1455 and I paid it . Now that I've asked them to disconnect my plan ,I paid the bill and I got confirmation mail stating

Dear Miss. MONA GUPTA,

We hereby confirm that services for your Account No.[protected] having Service ID [protected] has been terminated as on Termination Date.

We have considered your last usage date or Termination request date whichever is later as the date from which you should not be charged for services, basis which necessary waivers (if any) have been passed and revised outstanding amount has been calculated as described below.

As informed in our earlier communication, we will send our executive to collect all the equipment’s provided to you by Tikona, please handover the same. In event of equipment’s not being returned you are liable to pay additional charges of Rs.1500/-.

If any amount is refundable to you it will be processed and dispatched to your address registered with us in the next 30 working days. You will receive an SMS confirming the refundable amount once the cheque is dispatched.

If any amount is payable by you please ensure you pay the same on priority to avoid late payment charges and any other inconvenience at later stage.

Mentioned below are amounts payable considering both scenarios (a) Equipment Returned and (b) Equipment Not Returned.

I don't understand why are they calling me again and again and asking me to pay the bill. I called up customer care this sunday and explained everything ,they told you don;t have to play any bill. As we disconnected your connection long back. Its giving me alot of mental harassment and I am on verge of losing my mind. I need help . Please help to get rid of this guys. They call twice in a day

Tikona Broadband — incorrect practices and poor service

my name is melwin fernandes and i had acquired the internet services from tikona for which i had given a post dated cheque for the 2nd of June 2011
now as per their policy till the time the cheque is not cleared the installation will not be done and as per the brochure and the time of the signing of the service i was told that the first month o[censored]sage is free now the installation was done on the 7th of June 2011 and i used it till the 8th now on the 8th i was facing issues with the speed of the connection so i called their customer service number 6 times and every time i call i was told i will receive a call from the tech support team which never happened so i called the same day to cancel the service after which they send some guy to fix the problem i gave back the equipment back to them on the 9th June 2011
now i asked for the refund of my money on the 8th and 9th and and repeated after that i been calling them for a refund now every time i call they tell me it will take 30 days for the refund and today 5th of July when i call they tell me I'm not eligible for a refund as i have used the service
now as per the plan and the bill and the teams of the service i was not to be charged for the first month and at the same time when i call them they tell me that i am wrong that the installation was done on the 2nd and that as per my plan i cannot get refund they would not tell me the reason why and asked me to mail their email address which i did with no revert from them
at the same time they tell me that the service was canceled at the 15th and i payed for using the service 2 days please help me as i am being cheated over here

Send them a letter by registered post ack.due informing them the terms and conditions agreed upon and the name of the person you spoke to who said that the money would be refunded to you in a month. Do you have all the information? You need to be critical with each and every detail to get your refund. If you all the information, then send them a letter as mentioned above giving them a time limit of 48 hours after which you can file a case in the consumer court.
