After taking this matter up with Toyota, COO of Nandi Toyota visited me personally. He acknowledged the mistakes committed by his employees. Rs. 35000 that were charged extra, have been refunded. This is exactly the quality of service I had expected from the Toyota to begin with. In the end the matter was resolved to my satisfaction.

Yes, they cheat people since the competition is so strong, they think that way of making money.
They are in no way better than the roadside car stalls selling cars. UTrust also sells the cars at a 10% higher price with no added benefit.
They should be named as UGuess rather than UTrust.

WARNING WARNING WARNING!!! COMPETITION IS NO EXCUSE FOR DECEPTION. During the finance interview at Reno Toyota (aka: Dolan Auto Group); I asked about financing with my credit union which I had previously financed with, but was told that my credit union did not finance for the length of time my new contract would be using; leading me to believe this was the only option available to me. The contract was consequently written and placed with financing through Toyota's own finance company at the rate of 6.65 % interest. However a few days later I learned that my credit union did in fact offer the length of time allowed to finance my car and at a significantly lower interest rate. Not only was this information withheld from me, but I feel I was intentionally misinformed when I inquired about and requested financing with my credit union.
Then during a subsequent conversation with the finance department regarding these issues, I was again told they were ignorant of the fact my credit union offered these services, yet according to my financial institution the finance department was informed and knowledgeable of these financial lending policies as this information had been previously provided to Toyota's finance department. I feel, as did my financial institution, that this was a deliberate disregard for my request in an attempt to coerce me to finance though Toyota by means of deceptive information and at a significantly higher rate, for the purpose of increasing revenue. Additionally I was denied the opportunity to rescind my purchase (which was within the 72 hrs) due to Reno Toyota selling my vehicle and not responding to my requests which were in writing, phone, and multiple visits to the dealership.
I was finally contacted by the company after filing a formal complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB); however the representative who contacted me falsely informed me that the reason for the call was because she was sifting through the email of an employee who no longer worked there and found my email expressing my extensive dis-satisfaction. She informed me she (or her company, RENO TOYOTA now known as DOLAN AUTO GROUP) probably would not be able to help me due to the time frames; and that the “72 hr. law did not exist in Nevada”. I then informed her that the “72 hr law” DOES exist in Nevada when there has been contractual fraud and deception as was involved in my case and that I had been contacting the company repetitively for resolution since I purchased the vehicle. When I confronted her asking why I was suddenly being contacted after pursuing and contacting the company for resolution over such a long time; she again falsely stated the same information rather than disclosing they had actually been contacted by CFPB. She then kept insisting on the fact I was unhappy with the vehicle (citing if I wanted to come in; she could help me find something else that I might be happy with); for what ever reason. I finally expressed that yes I was unhappy as it was a constant reminder of how I was deceived and taken advantage of by her company. She then stated she would hand this over to her boss that she was unable to help me with the issues. Prior to being contacted by CFPB; there had been no contact from Toyota to resolve my issues despite my persistant contacts to attempt resolution. After learning about her deception from the CFPB; I again sent an email her asking why it was necessary to fraudulently present the reasons for her call; letting her know I knew the truth and did not appreciate the deception. TO DATE THERE HAS BEEN NO RESOLUTION OR RESPONSE FROM "HER BOSS"!!!

Hi UTrust Team,
I'm Sandeep Jena bearing vehicle number OR02BF1818, purchased from Capital UTrust, Mancheswar industrial estate on 22-Sept-2022. I have purchased this for my parents as Durga Puja Gift with my hard earned money, unfortunately on 29-Sept-2022 my car suddenly cut off ignition then after it's not starting.
While I have purchased this car also faced this issue at cuttack road then I found diesel filter kit is broken & there is a leakage so I have changed that KIT from cuttack road immediately. Now my car is at Toyota Service centre mancheswar & they are telling ECM is not working for that I have to pay ₹39K.
My objective of purchasing this car is not fulfilled.
Regards
Sandeep Jena
