[Resolved]  Venetian Honda — High service charges without intimition

I am Mr. Sachin More ,we met with a small accident on 9 /4/2013 on our Honda Activa which is on my wife’s name .Next day I went to authorised servicing center of honda activa for repairing of active and informed them that I will use my vehicle insurance for the same. My insurance company is Bajaj-Alliance. In servicing center I met with Mr. Asif who is the insurance service adviser for Venitian Honda (Borivali East, Mumbai).He prepared all the necessary documents ( claim form ,cancelled cheque ,original policy photocopy ,Licence photocopy etc.) and quotation (estimation) of proposed labor work and part details. In that quotation he (Mr. Asif ) mentioned tentative amount Rs. 4500 and also he told me that insurance surveyor will come within 2 days and he will inspect the vehicle and after that only they will work on that…..this process will take 5 to 7 days and after that we will get your Activa.
Monday morning i.e 15th April, 2013 I called Mr. Akshay (Insurance surveyor of Bajaj Alliance) about status that if he has visited Venitial Honda for survey of Honda active, he said that he visited Saturday and survey is done on Saturday itself. After that I spoke with Mr. Asif that Mr. Akshay told me that survey has been done and now when you will start the work? Mr. Asif told me that survey is done and our active will be ready by Thursday or Friday. I said ok. But at 4.30 Pm I got call from Mr. Asif that My Activa is ready and I can take that on 15th April itself by 6.00 PM. I went to Venitian Honda servicing center for pick up the vehicle by 6.00 Pm. After checking the vehicle Mr. Asif given me bill of Rs. 4000. I asked them that when I will get this refund then he told me that I will get aprox. Rs. 2000 from insurance Co. I said why so and when I checked the estimation given by Mr. Akshay (Insurance surveyor of Bajaj Alliance) it is totally different. When I spoke with him he told that every dealership is charging that much charges only and this as per rule. For eg. Thae labour charges of front alignment is Rs. 250 but this dealership has charged me. Rs. 730 which is very higher. When I complained to Mr. Asif as well as GM of Venitian Honda they told me we don’t know about other dealers and we will charge as per our work only. When I asked these people why they have not intimidated me before servicing that charge will be Rs. 4000 and insurance people have passed just Rs. 2000, but they told me that this is not their work and it is of insurance person’s responsibility. When I asked Mr. Akshay he told that it is not his responsibility. Even Mr. Akshay told me that their charges are very high apart from other dealers.
Please guide me as our vehicle is still with the dealership and they are telling me to pay whole amount. It’s really frustrating and don’t know what is the use of Insurance then? And they also told me that after 3 days parking charges will be Rs. 50 per day. My JOB CARD is 13JC00734.
