[Resolved]  Videocon Customer Care — non responcive customer care, unreasonable charges

I availed the facility of Videocon Group Authorized Service Centre to service my Kelvinator Refrigerator Model No. 286 Master Piece, Serial No. 100142, for not cooling vide complaint number DEL [protected].
The service engineer visited and diagnosed, chocked capillary and took the machine to the centre for Capillary replacement, Gas filling and thermostat change.
When the machine returned and put on service we noticed there was excessive frosting on suction line aft of the machine. We again called up the auth. service centre (Pearl Home Care, Dwarka, New Delhi), which adviced to register the complaint with your call centre. Again complaint was registered vide complaint no. DEL [protected].
The service engineer visited (May 13, 2009) and diagnosed it overcharging of gas and the service engineer demanded for the visiting charges, which according to me are unjust. As the machine was repaired and charged by gas at your centre and if any problem arises due to the same it should be responsibility of the company. The service centre had informed that it bears three month guarantee for the repair work.I request you to look into the matter. We approached the authorised service centre for the quality work and in good faith of reputed company.

There is a technical issue also to my understanding if there is overcharging there should be frequent high pressure cut out, if the thermostat is working correctly but we have not noticed and the engineer never checked for it, please make sure the things are checked properly.

Wel all the complaint i have gone through seems to be genuine & the company in order to stabalize their Brand name in the market should solve the customer's problem as customer comes First before the company Policies..
my tv set having some problem and i have contacted our nearest service station in pondicherry and service engineer taken away the board.Almost one month over now, and every time I contact he[Manikandan [protected]] says board is ready and I will come and fix it tomarrow.This is going on last 15 days.Dont you have any hold on your service people?.If you have please pull them up.Service people are taking you granted thats only I can tell you.

I like to say only one thing about videocon, this is the most unauthentic company in this market, and requesting you all that do not go for any product of videocon if you do not want to have problems. If you like to say aa bel mujhe maar than its your choice as I have done.
We've purchased a Electolux Refrigirator ER180 Model in April'2007 in Kolkata, in the month of June'2009 it was not getting cooled, hence I lodge a complaint for the service in the customer care but no response from them, hence I taken the fridge to private technisian to resolve the issue, he found that Compressure is not in condition, needs to be replaced, hence I replaced with the new compressure, but as per the warranty we've 5 yrs warranty on compressure, after recently again I lodeged a complaint in the customer care, they visited and said that some body has repaired it hence we can't do anything, I am asking for the replacement of compressure which is mentioned 5 Years warranty in the warranty card.

Came to attend the complaint he demand money for change the key pad and buttons(switches) of washing machine but my machine is under two year guarantee period, After that I have registered complaint again Agr[protected] on 28-01-10, Agr [protected] on 1-02-10, agr[protected] on 2-02-10.But nobody has came till now.

i m sanjeev kumar rathore from agra (u.p). i purchased a videcon home theater model no.DS333.after 1 year that woffer start creating problem and slowel slowey it stop working.i took that woofer every where in all videcon services center in delhi agra everywhere but service center people are saying dis model s totaly stop manuffaturing now so we cant get the part of dis woffer, almost 2 year s past but i dint get reparied dat woofer.
my question s dat?
if manufacturing s stoped then at least u can provide the part or not i m not abel to get dat part ...

I have purchased the LCD 3201 D2H Satellite TV on 13.03.10 from Next Retail shop sector 14 but till starting there was a sound problem in LCD and I informed to Next retail shop on 21.03.10 & also to customer care on dated 29.03.10 but there is no solution.
the executive visited to us on 30th March and he was also agree that set is defected.
Second problem is that I have purchased the satellite LCD and as per your advertisement this LCD will connect with Dish anteena without any electric wire but this is connected with the wire why ?
From the starting I am suffering with your bad product which i was purchased wrongly & videocon made me mentally haresment/disturbed.
Videocon service or products is not good and i was wrong to decide to buy the videocon products .I am very much dissatisfy with your products.

I have purchased Electrolux microwave oven (Model EF28CBGK) from DIGIWORLD, Hanamkonda on[protected] Receipt No. 1326, Rs. 10750=00). The dealer said that demo will be given next day. After waiting for 3 days I contacted DIGIWORLD. Then a person by name "Mustafa' came and told that he does not know about this latest model. He told that his senior will come.
To our surprise no one came later. I called many times the dealer as well as the service center staff by name Sri Chakrapani and Sri Murthy. Both o0f them told that one Mr George Reddy will come and give the demo. Even by today he did not turn up. We could not use it so far. The purpose of its purchase could not be materialized.

I even gave a call to toll free service number "[protected]" last week. But nothing worked out. Now I feel that I did a big mistake by purchasing oven from Videocon Inc.. I am the first user of Videocon TV and Fridge in my campus in 1980s.
But Today I had to go personally to the dealer to ask for the demo after 30 days of purchase. I have never seen this kind of poor response by any company to a customer. I told the dealer to take back the oven as he could not even arrange a demo. Other outlets of same brand are giving demo on purchaase day and also are arranging cooking classes.
My bitter experience is like this.
DIGIWORLD dealer spoke to the service center incharge. The incharge asked me to go to the service center to speak personally. He also asked me to get demo there and then asked me to give demo personally to my wife in my house. This is a ridiculous proposition and a definitelty a careless attitude by the service centre. What could be your reaction, had you been in my position.

This is definitely a case of pure lack of courtesy and gross negligence in consumer service.
I totally regret for purchasing from this company dealer.
