[Resolved]  Videocon Customer Care — non responcive customer care, unreasonable charges

I availed the facility of Videocon Group Authorized Service Centre to service my Kelvinator Refrigerator Model No. 286 Master Piece, Serial No. 100142, for not cooling vide complaint number DEL [protected].
The service engineer visited and diagnosed, chocked capillary and took the machine to the centre for Capillary replacement, Gas filling and thermostat change.
When the machine returned and put on service we noticed there was excessive frosting on suction line aft of the machine. We again called up the auth. service centre (Pearl Home Care, Dwarka, New Delhi), which adviced to register the complaint with your call centre. Again complaint was registered vide complaint no. DEL [protected].
The service engineer visited (May 13, 2009) and diagnosed it overcharging of gas and the service engineer demanded for the visiting charges, which according to me are unjust. As the machine was repaired and charged by gas at your centre and if any problem arises due to the same it should be responsibility of the company. The service centre had informed that it bears three month guarantee for the repair work.I request you to look into the matter. We approached the authorised service centre for the quality work and in good faith of reputed company.

There is a technical issue also to my understanding if there is overcharging there should be frequent high pressure cut out, if the thermostat is working correctly but we have not noticed and the engineer never checked for it, please make sure the things are checked properly.

Videocon Air Conditioner — CUstomer service center not responding

I had raised a complaint for getting my Videocon A/c repaired..The ticket number is pop[protected].Its now more than a month.The customer service center is not at all looking into the matter seriously ..Its been prolonged a lot and its really frustrating

I had purchased Videocon Plasma Integra 32'P from "Next retail India ltd" Borivali (west) branch Mumbai on dated 05/05/2009, bill no: 03244, amount: rs 21500/-
T.V. worked perfectly for 4 to 5 months, then the problem started, problem was of glass of tv screen. It had started turning YELLOW. It started with a single dot and then spread out to whole screen. I had made complaint in the begining when i had noticed that yellow spot. My 1st complaint no: mum[protected], dated:08/10/2009. The 1st complaint was solved after 2-3 months, that too after many reminder. "Next" requested us to make complaint online on Videocon customer service site, we did so but there was no reply from their side too. My online complaint no :18266MW381149, dated:27/12/2009. My 1st complaint was solved in december end or in january. After this tv worked properly for 3 to 4 months and then same yellow spot was seen and i made complaint again, complaint no:mum[protected] dated:22/05/2010, even after this complaint i wasn't entertained properly. then after few days engineers came n changed the glass but that glass was the ordinery window glass, which was replaced on 19/06/2010 . In this glass tv screen was completely black we could not see any thing properly. I think they fooled me. Then i went to Videocon service center office kandivali branch, then they again replaced the glass but again glass was of same cheap quality but in reddish color.
My tv glass has been changed tries but i am not at all satisified by the quality of Videocon and service of "Videocon and also of Next retail India ltd"
I requested Videocon service center to change my tv model and i also said that i am ready to pay difference but they havent replied till now, it has passed more then 1 month i said them, and their reply is just that "Videocon" company is not instructing us so we cant help you.
Now i humbly request for the last time please do replace my tv and change our model. Hope i am entertained properly atleast this time. Waiting for your reply for the last time.

videocon electronics — Job offer from a reputed Videocon company - but with a payment first

Hi

I have recieved the below mail from Videocon Electronics, to pay a deposit amount of Rs. 8900, with SBI branch and account number. So is there the hands of the officials, from both these concerns???? Its a real big question mark. So when the money from our pockets is at stake, now I wonder if the money in our own trusted Bank is also at stake.... Humanity and value is lost....

Please my only concern is to take measures to stop this fraud and cheat and third grade actions. Its hard earned money, for all people who earn and are in search of jobs.
Is this a high class way to theft and bribery!!! Please stop and take actions. And to add the necessary concerns involved are not only losing their good reputation, but also should answer to the voices. No use questioning commons, if they have sense to have believed this....but its high time you bigger concerns have watch on your banner names, cause we respect your products and so the owners. So directly or indirectly cheating with the so called banner name, shows your carelessness and a shame!!!

I bought 1 videocon refridgerator model VAE173 around 6 months ago. since 15 days I am suffering from no cooling problem and then I registered a complaint to your customer care, no. [protected]. my complaint no. is BAN [protected]. since then till today I have called atleast 10 times but still I've not got any positive response.I have heard so many times that we are forwarding your complaint to our special deptt or any g x service centre but after that nobody got back to me, even few person like1 kartik had just cut my call without understanding my problem and even told me that we cant do anything 4 you. In between 1 person also came here in the evening and then after 5 min he just told me that I can manage only minor problems and some other person has to come and after that till now I am still calling to solve my problems.
finally I hope you will understand my problem will do needful.

there is no such vacancy in videocon sites and career from videocon says job appointment and security deposit and all

i think its fraud..i just want to know about this fraud email..dont know how many people have got cheated by this fraud firm..

videocon is such a branded name all over india and its mnc have its own copyrite..

Videocon Refrigerator-173 — for not attending the complaint under warranty

I did complaint two times whose videcomplaint no. are VAR [protected] dt. 02/10/2010 and VAR[protected] dt. 15/11/2010. But dealer is not attending my complaint. I am very disturb mentally and phycally. Kindly solve my problem.

Videocon — FREQUENT HIGH CHARGES FOR SERVICING

Dear Sir,

We had Purchased a 250 Litres Refrigerator from Plug In Store in Pune, in 2008. The Fridge was seldom used in our Bungalow at Pune coz the place is a Guest house for us.

SOme 7 months back, the Compressor of the fridge conked off and the same was replaced in coordination with Mr. Prakash Savargaonkar of Pune.

As per the Technician Ganesh who attended to the call, he asked us to pay Rs. 1600 towards cost of Gas and Transfers and stated that if we do not live in Pune regularly, we have to keep the same kept off and put it ON when we visit Pune.
We have been occassionally visiting our bungalow and using the Videocon fridge as and when we are there. On our last visit there on 24th December, we noticed that the fridge was not cooling well. Upon speaking with the Technician, Mr. Prakash Savargaonkar we were told that the Fridge needs Gas charging and additional cost of Rs. 1500 will have to be incurred now.

In less than 8 months we have to bear a cost of Rs. 3100 which is 35% of the cost of the machine. When we spoke with One Mr. Imran, he was quite stern and rude and said that he could not do anything as the charges will have to be paid. I feel Mr. Prakash was more accommodating last time we dealt with him.
We are stuck with a unit that does not cool and seems like a White Elephant to us now, as every time we visit our home and tend to use the Fridge, we may have to pay 1500 ruppes to have it up and running.

We urge the higher authorities to look into the matter and help us solve the prblem. Else we will have no option but to send the fridge to Videocon for their R & D as there seems to be some major problem with the Fridge.

Remember the complaint I posted on this site about the fraudulent trick played on me by the Videocon people? They took away the kit of my 29" Videocon TV set on the pretext that it could only be repaired in their workshop. It is now almost two years, and they have still not returned the repaired kit. Instead their man fitted in my TV a new kit and charged me Rs 1500.
So, the Videocon people specialize in playing confidence tricks on their customers and get away with it without any fear of being penalized by the law. I lodged a complaint with the police, but it did not help. Everyone knows the way our police works. So, my humble suggestion to those who visit this site is that beware of Videocon! Neither their products nor their after-sale service is anything to write home about.

Videocon — Frequent high service charge & duplicate parts

Service centre people replaced TV parts with duplicate spare parts. At the time of purchase the vendor had told us that there is 5 year warranty and now he is refusing that there is no such warranty. In 1 year, we have repaired TV for 4 times and every time service center people putting duplicate cheap spare parts from the market.

I have 1 videocon refridgerator 13 month old and this is the fourth time I am suffering from cooling problem. Around 6 month back service technician has changed compressor and around 1 month back 1 technician changed OLP also, in between 1 person told that you have to refill gas also.Now again I have cooling problem and I had complained around 7-8 days back. This time my complaint no. is BAN[protected]. 2 technicians have seen the problem but none of them solved it and they said it is again a compressor problem. Out of them 1 person named Sikander asked me to pay 1400/- to change the compressor. when I asked that why should I pay this much of money when my compressor is in guarantee period, he told me to give 500/- off paper without receipt to repair it.
Now my refridgerator is open from lower back side and some parts are disconnected also.
Now everybody is asking me why I bought this refridgerator. so finally I am sending you a mail to solve my problem. kindly do the needful.

I am using videcon semi auto washing machine for the past 15 years. I purchased same in Mumbai. At time I get shock/ water leakage. Otherwise the machine is working fine. some minor repair will resove the issue.

One of the never ever seen worst service they (Videocon) has. I was totally frustrated by their activities and I bought a new washing machine within 4 months duration after I bought the Videocon Washing machine.

Basically they won't work for the customer's they complained and I don't understand how the ownder of this product is giving attention to these things. I am just sharing my sharing experience here. I suggestion to new customers is don't go with any of the videocon product as they worstest worst service center they have.
