[Resolved]  Videocon Customer Care — non responcive customer care, unreasonable charges

I availed the facility of Videocon Group Authorized Service Centre to service my Kelvinator Refrigerator Model No. 286 Master Piece, Serial No. 100142, for not cooling vide complaint number DEL [protected].
The service engineer visited and diagnosed, chocked capillary and took the machine to the centre for Capillary replacement, Gas filling and thermostat change.
When the machine returned and put on service we noticed there was excessive frosting on suction line aft of the machine. We again called up the auth. service centre (Pearl Home Care, Dwarka, New Delhi), which adviced to register the complaint with your call centre. Again complaint was registered vide complaint no. DEL [protected].
The service engineer visited (May 13, 2009) and diagnosed it overcharging of gas and the service engineer demanded for the visiting charges, which according to me are unjust. As the machine was repaired and charged by gas at your centre and if any problem arises due to the same it should be responsibility of the company. The service centre had informed that it bears three month guarantee for the repair work.I request you to look into the matter. We approached the authorised service centre for the quality work and in good faith of reputed company.

There is a technical issue also to my understanding if there is overcharging there should be frequent high pressure cut out, if the thermostat is working correctly but we have not noticed and the engineer never checked for it, please make sure the things are checked properly.

I Mr. Ramanbhai Prajapati having mob: [protected] of Videocon Mobile Balance have been deducted of Rs.30 for VMusic. I never ever subscribe any type of Vmusic but they automaticaly reduced my balance.

i have faced that problem in my another mob: [protected] but afte complaint they credited Rs.30 within 24 hrs.

i have to state that delite this type of Chitting Scheme and Save money of your valuable Customer.

regards to your response, but i m sorry to say that no action has been taken yet by the local customer care centre, i have only got a sms by the company containing the complaint no. - JAI[protected]. and contact no. of engineer MR. MOHD. IMRAN - [protected].
i made a call to your engineer but he said that he has not got any call from the service centre. i had a very bad experience of service with the local service centre previously also.please take care of it.

please assist how to get rid of this problem.

hi

i have purchased a videocon ac before 3 years. it is a very bad experience of handling that videocon ac, i have not feel like air conditioned environment in the period, it can not even make environment even comfortable, a simple cooler can give satisfaction more than videocon ac i think that i have wasted my rs 24000 for purchasing that ac. i am bound to think that i have committed a mistake of buying this ac.

its totally a wastage of money.

i have suffered a lot from purchase of that videocon ac.

please resolve my problem.

Videocon — No response / extreme delay in Service

I bought Videocon Window AC (1.5 tonne) on 15th Apr'07 from NEXT, Faridabad (HR). In this summer, when I started my AC, blower was not functioning and the compressor was fine, I called upon your service executive (say engineer) from Cool n Cool Service Center, Faridabad (HR). Two men visited to my house told me that there is problem in Capacitor or fan motor. After many reminders, another executives from same service center replaced both capacitor & fan motor. However, during erection of fan motor, compressor gas leaked. Again after reminders, another executive from the same service center filled the gas and took Rs. 2000/- on a/c of fan motor and capacitor. They insisted for charge of gas filling but I refused as it was engineer's fault. Ultimately they agreed for the same.

After that I again started my AC but after one hour or so, fan motor and compressor both stopped working. I shut off and then put on my AC but no response was found. After 2 hours, I again started AC and it began working but after one cycle fan & compressor stopped working. After 3 minutes, Compressor started but fan / blower was not. I called Videocon Service Center on 10.5.2011 at[protected] and registered my complaint ( Ref No. GUR[protected]) and requested to send senior engineer to rectify the problem.

On 11.5.2011, executive from same service center i..e Cool n Cool visited my house and told me to change the stabilizor as it was showing 150 V to 180 V. I owned another stabilizor from my colleague but the problem was same. I tried to contact the person who visited my house but i failed to contact.

On 12.5.2011, I again registered the problem (Ref No. GUR[protected]). The man visited my house from the same service center washed the AC again and assured me that problem is solved.

However, the problem is still there with no improvement.

I again contacted your customer care but there was no care. No man visited....no phone pick up.....

Is this enough or is there any solution with Videocon?

We have purchased 2 Air conditioners and it worked well for few years and then we asked Videocon for its repair. The problem was no colling in any of the ACs. These Videocon people have a 3rd party vendor called Hi Tech services and I must say that they are the biggest cheats and they are spoiling the name of Videocon. These Hi Tech services lodged our complain and took the ACs from our home after 10 days of complain and then after delivering it one AC's Gas got over within 5 days and the other one got over within a month. So, I would like to project people that Videocon people are the biggest cheats in terms of giving services, all the local vendors provide better services than Videocon but morale of the story is that if you purchase Videocon be ready to suffer, suffer and suffer. I would request Videocon to remove their thord party vendors called HI Tech Services, these are the people who are cheating Videocon and customers too. When I called the HI Tech services, they said it might be a leakage but that can happy with one air conditioner, how about all the air conditioners? So, that means they are just fooling customers and nothing else. Videocon, take action against these Hi Tech services or else you will lose all the business.

• I have bought Window AC 1.5Ton which is 2years 2 Months old.
• Before few day I have cooling problem in AC.
• I have registered call at your customer Care center (Complaint No.GHA[protected]) ON Dtd.19.07.2011.
• I was told that within 48 hours service dealer will call me.(48 Hours for city like Ghaziabad near to Delhi is really surprise).
• On 20th July, around 3pm Service engineer came ( Name Mr.Rajan:[protected]).
• I was told that gas is leaked & need to be charged. So the Compressor needs to be taken to Ghaziabad Service Centre & the amount I was told is 1950/-.
• I am regularly following up but no one has came to pick the AC for repair.


The most admiring things is that within 2.5 years AC is in such kind of problem although they are offering 5 years warranty/guarantee.

Secondly I am admiring their service support.

Videocon — Authorized Service Centre is not working

I am Manish and I purchased the Videocon Handset-V1308 in the month of June but after 10 days the handset is not working properly. In this handset the problem occurs are when i recevied the sms the message the message was not opened and when i deleted the sms and call history it's not deleted and not shown the incoming no. in my received call list.

The problem is that I visited your Authorized Service Centre on 16th July 2011 and submitted my cellphone V1308 for the reparing and your service centre employees told me that we will take 2-3 days for repairing you handset. I told him that i have no issue i will collect my handset after 3 days but after 3 days when i again visited your Service Centre than the Owner of this Service Centre told me that still your handset is not repairing. Can You please tell me this is the way to repairing the Videocon Mobile.
On 18th July i received a sms from Vidoecon that Your handset is repaired but when i visited to collect my handset it was not repaired

Than after 3 days I will visit you service centre on 24th July they told that we will send you mobile to Videocon Company on Monday so you collect you cell on thursday I told him but make sure you will give me my handset on Thursday.

On Thursday 28th July when i again visited the same thing is repeated from the last 15days the handset is not repaired And You know today is Sunday Today i called the Owner of Your Authorized Service Centre Mr. Kimmi told me that still your handset is in the Videocon Company.

videocon/microwave oven — repaired 5 times but still not working

I have purchased a microwave oven from videocon on 10/09/2010 . It got faulty on 20th Aug 2011. Since then its more than one month and it has been repaired 3 times but is not usable . Then i asked that i want replacement or my money back. they saig we are sure this time it will not happen. I repaired again but it was again not usable. Then i again told i dont want repair now i want new product. But they took the product from me kept at them for 15 days and then gave back the same product citing now no problem will come. But the very next day of reciept it again got into problem.
Now i have finally told them that i dont want this product and i want replacement but they are harassing me and again and again asking me to get it repaired . what is the fun in getting repaired all time when it again gets into problem in next 2 days? . I have lost complete faith in the product that it is at all usable . Over and above this the consumer care persons not even give reply to my mails. Its more than 5 -6 reminders i have send and still they are not replying

i am from paloncha, khammam dist. i lodged a complaint about split ac i.e. there was a cooling when ac started but after ten minutes no cooling may be compressor is getting trip. Lodged complaint by customer care they send the service engineer and they arranged the new compressor on 25-05-12 by telling there was a problem in old compressor. but after arranging new compressor the same problem is coming which i was lodged. and they charged that 2800/- rupees. But the engineer is not completed installation report and he told he will come and see. I hope he may solve the problem. This is just for acknowledgement for future correspondence from videocon company people.
Dear Sir, I had given Videocon AC complained on June 03, 2012 and Complained No. GUR-[protected] has been allotted. Their service Engineer Sri Sahdev Yadav visited at my residence M2K The white House, Sector -57 Gurgaon and told that gas to be filled. More than 4 days happened and no action has been taken by service centre. I have 2 AC of Videocon 2MT & 1.5 MT . There is no proper reply from customer care and telling Technical problem. Morning they say they will visit after noon and afternoon they say that their mechanic is on the way and in evening they say for next day. I also contacted again & again with Sri Yadav ( [protected] ) and supervisor sri Vijay ( [protected]) on every day and getting only false dates after dates. Perhaps they are waiting to pass the summer season so no body will ask for AC.

It is my feeling that Customer service of Vidieocon AC is useless, failing and you will get only false promises. I have 2 months old baby in the flat and have 2 AC Vidiocon but in non working condition.
It is my feeling NEVER - NEVER BUY VIDIOCON AC as you will never get service after sales and will get only false promises.
