This is Rajesh Chaudhari and I am using Videocon d2h from last 2 years and suddenly from yesterday I am getting an error message on my screen saying signal not available. When I called your customer service, first he asked me to wait for 2 hrs to resolve this problem, but its not fixed. Then when I called today your agent told me that I need to pay Rs 150 to your service enginner for his visit. This is absolutely not acceptable from you guys. I would never pay extra for you guys mistake and now seriously I am thinking of moving to another service provider. Please revert me back asap, before I throw away your box and dish from my house. I am going to call for your service engineer to resolve this issue in another 24 hours. It really hurts that I need to pay Rs 150 to him for no fault of mine. I will wait till my subscription expire and would break all my commitments with Videocon because of your pathetic service.

I am also facing the same issue..
Service not available is coming since last night.
People from customer care are not ready to help .. it seems so. they just want to send the techinician. And need the charges of 125 Rs.
It seems that their business is going down and they want to earn money this way.
If signal is not coming, then where lies my fault?
Why should i pay them. I dont understand.
And i am waiting for the tech to come. Seriously i would rather like to go for some other Service provider.
I also got the prob after 2 yrs.. strange..

Videocon D2H — Error in owner name

Dear Sir,

For last month i am submit my complaint in consumercomplaints forom. But still not corrected. Actually my complaint is, i am purchasing viedeocon d2h at october last week. But in system of viedeocon data server my name is shows PRASHANT BHAMPE but actually my name is PRASAD VITTHALRAO MANTE which is also mentioned in viedeocon custemer registration form by their instullation enginner.
But still date my name is not corrected in viedeocon custemer data server. So please do needful because i am also attached my certificate of identithy.
Again today i am sending my identity certificate of my name , so please correct my name & address in your records.
And for the VIEDEOCON it is very shameful for there performance by giveing service to their customer. Becasue they can't understanding the point of view of custmer that what they want?
Because as a entry of viedeocon world they welcomes their customer by their faulty name & identy.They are not aware about their customer identification that who is our customer? ,what is their name? & proff of their name & address.

I have videocon d2h connection (ID[protected] because i thought the name of videocon is first class but videocon is the third class.

starding i face the problem "signal not avilable".

We complaint many times and all time they say sorry sir we promisse now you not face this problem again.

many time they work with my only 8 year son, is the major punishment for this company as per child labour law.

last complaint again file dated 04-sept- 2012 for signal not available properly and channel miss match, but they file only channel miss match,

videocon worker come but again same day signal not available problem comes, and still continuously, and when i complaint at this no. [protected], they told "aap line per rahe...aap line per rahe" then they disconnect the call and they say 125/- is charge for service, but i face the problem daily and charges deduction is continuoulsy daily,

I frosted financially and mentally by the videcon "Signal not avialble" problem.

if this not solve in mean time i will complaint in consumer form with all claim.

and i request to all please "DONT PURCHASE ANY THING" where the NAME is mention "VIDEOCON"

No Signal issue since yesterday and NO clue, as call center calls also getting aborted automatically.
This is unaccepatble as customer support and numbers are of hardly any use.

Very Pathetic service from call center executives giving statements like : " na apki galti hai na humari" But still you need to pay 125 Rs for the No signal issue.
Called up thrice to discuss with your executives, all I get is call being hanged up midway, without proper resolution.
Giving 24 hrs time that an engineer will call and fix a convinent time. Surprised to see such a slow service, where you take 24 hrs just to call back??????
Not at all happy with the services and further with your customer support for D2H.

i am using the Videcon d2h HD service.

while i installed the service, the very next day i face problem with the dish signal.
ther engineer was sent and i had to pay for that.

within a week, same signal problem. again i had to pay for the engineer. finally , i had to also change the position of the dish within the same house. but i had to pay again.

now few months, the service worked fine.

last few days, again same problem. signal not available. after 2 -3 mins , signal comes back.

now today, even after 1 hour signal not available. i called customer care. no help provided. they want to send engineer. i am ok wth that.

but again i have to pay for the engineer.

Videocon D2H has made it a side source of revenue, subscription+ engineer visit charge.

I need a solution to this problem.

this cant go on , causes huge harrasment loss.

But when we reset D2H there, it is showign No Signal

I have upgraded the setup box to HD on 29th of JAN, since then I am not able to view any channels.
The person who came for installation failed to rectify the problem and he said he will sent his senior engineer.
I wasted the whole day waiting for the engineer.I am speaking to the call center since then but no use .Till this date the person has not visited and wasted my 4 days . I am seriously fed up of the service.

I am also facing this "signal Not Available" issue frequently. Customer ID[protected] . I am facing the issue for the 3rd time now within a span of 4 months. It was working fine for almost 1.5 years. Whereas I have a Tata Sky box in another house which I have been using since 2006 and the only time I had contacted technical team was when I needed to relocate my house and when I needed to upgrade to HD. The channels are less compared to Videcon, but it is very reliable...Videocon SUCKS!!! I just recently renewed my subscription for a year thinking that everything would be fine for now. But actually it's still unreliable.

I have raised a complaint (Work Order No.[protected] through customer service on April 25th and I have not even received any call from service engineer. Then again I have raised another complaint (Work Order No.[protected] on April 26th and till now I have not received any kind of communication from Videocon service engineers.

Kindly let me know when the issue could be resolved.

Hi iam Videocon d2h user for the last 4yrs. I had no issues with the service till yesterday. Today one of there engineer came to resolve my neighbors connection problem. In tht process he fiddled with my d2h cable too and I lost connection. When I confronted him to solve it he said the problem is with the settop box. I have to change it and pay him 350 for the box and 170 his service charge. I don't understand he come creates t problem and asking me to pay for the same.is this one way of earning money by fooling customer.? Does Videocon hasan answer? My customer I'd is 80058227
