[Resolved] Vodafone 3G — Exorbitant billing 25666.56 for 3G services | |||
Vodafone has charged 19000 Rupees for 3G services under a plan for 650 Rupees for 4GB free downloads, with extra charges of 2 paise for every 10 KB. My total monthly billing is 25666.56 out of which 3G usage is 19000 Rupees. I have not used the 3G services for other than emails. Vodafone has not provided any itemised billing (giving the details of websites visited and downloads done) and has given the reason of prohibition from TRAI regulations for not providing the itemised billing. This matter is lying with Vodafone for 1 month without resolution. They have offered to provide me a deduction of Rs. 8300 from my billed amount of 25666.56 which is not acceptable to me. There is a gross deficiency in service from Vodafone. Vodafone has violated all the provisions of Indian Consumer Protection Act 1986.
