[Resolved] Vodafone — NUMBER PORTABILITY REJECTED BY VODAFONE | |||
Hi this Valli, the customer of Vodafone using the mobile number [protected] past 2 years in VODAFONE Network. I have faced many problems like network, bills, etc..... I requested many times Vodafone service team to migrated my number to postpaid to prepaid . But they said there is no rule to migration post to prepaid before Jan 20, 2011. After Jan 20, 2011 the Mobile Number Portability has been entered then i want to change my Network to BSNL. Before changing my network i cleared my all due bills, Now my outstanding bill is (Minus)-213 Rs. Then i submitted application to Port my number. i sent msg to 1900 and i got unique code also. But now, i got a msg from VODAFONE Your Porting Request VA113725, has been rejected due to the number or range is in contractual. Then i asked VODAFONE customer executive porting has rejected, He said that 1. I did a contract to VODAFONE that we will stay in VODAFONE Network only. But i never do any contract with VODAFONE to stay in there Network. 2. It is a Premium Number, i[censored] want to change your network or to change Post to prepaid in Vodafone Network you have pay premium amount. Then what is the use of Mobile Number Portability. Vodapone rejected my porting requests VA111529 and VA145628 saying porting code mismatch. They have 477 rs of mine and even the nodal officer is not able to give proper reason for this rejection.
TRAI should intervene and should stop this foul plays by service providers who are rejecting MNP for no reason

I surely agree and have my warmth support and wishes with you people.We should not let it go on.If we did they think that they can do whatever they like.they are letting these issues extremely.We people should always give a strong voice against these issues
Vodafone - Rejected port code
Similar thing has been done in my case .
They have rejected the port code saying it is not matching, when I called customer care they said the code expires in 15 days . I told the customer care the code has been raised just 4 days back .They said we are sorry you need to raise another code .
This has happened 3 times .Very bad experience with Vodafone .

1st number-Rejected due to UPC mismatch ( the porting code is 100% correct which was provided to me by SMS from 1901
2nd number-Rejected due to legal reasons.
I am planning to go to court and teach them a good lesson
