[Resolved]  Vodafone — balance deduction for missed call alert and caller tunes without permission

I have been calling Vodafone continuously for so many days regarding by balance deduction and network related issues. I sent them mails as well. All i get is an automated mail saying my problem will be resolved in 2 days. I did have my network issue resolved to some extent however, nobody seems to be interested in refunding the amount unnecessarily deducted from my account for some unwanted caller tunes and missed call alert activation. They never asked me if i wanted it and just deducted my balance.

It was so difficult to even reach to their help desk as i was never able to get through if i punched in my vodafone no. I feel like they had set up some kind of call reject or something for my number on their systems. The moment i punched in my dad's no. the call went through to a customer service executive. This guys assured me that my amount would be refunded however, till date it hasn't.

I wonder if they always behave this way or is this just happening to me.

It's wrong to charge a customer for something they havent asked for or rather something that they dont even want.

I dont know how this complaint is going to help, but i hope it does. Atleast other customer should not be treated this way.

I am the holder of the phone no [protected] from punjab.The vodaphone company has deducted huge amount since i have bought this connection changeing my caller tunes from time to time.whenever i contact their customer care they hardly assist especially the executives they have in mohali branch.Kindly look into the matter .This is a pre paid no .Companies like this harass customer without intimating them and put us in unwanted situations.We being the youth of the country have whole right to raise our voice against such companies.I would like to bring this issue in the account of public and authrities.kinIndly do the needful.

my number is [protected],citizen of chennai
sir,
this number of mine rests with my mom.today when i checked in the balance it was -3.90(negative).i searched for the recent messages in which i found that vodafone promotional callertune has been activated for me.
i immediately called the customer care from another vodafone number.when asked how that happened ,he told me that i would have received an intimation sms regarding the the promotional caller tune.according to him,promotional caller is free for first 30days,and then when there is no objection they make it permanent.i was so not convinced and tried again for which he told me to contact neares vodafone retailer and abruptly disconnected the call
i went to the nearest shop and asked,they told they knew nothing about that.i returned and this time again made a call.i stated to same problem to yet another of their executive.he told that it is the procedure and i would have received the message stating that.
now i got really frustrated and asked him to connect me to his higher official.
i began with asking the designation.i was told that i was talking to the team leader.i again took up the same thing and got puzzled by the system.she told that the intimaton sms is everything.
my point is ,is an sms enough to subscribe you for some sort of rubbish.what about people who delete their message without reading.there was not even a single call from their side.is that the way service providers should act.
now i have lost rs30 and there is no reply.what they say is,its our fault that we did not read our messages.
sir,although it my right to stand in and protest, i am begging you to take the action required.

Vodafone — Deduction of balance on caller tunes

Vodafone service are continuosly taking 30 rs/- per month for caller tunes..
Nearly i have lost more than 90 rs/- as it seems. Servicers say i have not deactivated it.I have requested them to cancel it on Dec-2009, they havent done it yet.Also,they speak very unpolite to the customers.I couldn send message to them since my balance is -13.00. I will not recharge unless they cancel the caller tunes.

kitna madar chod company hai aircal?customers ka paisa katne se acha apni maa, behan ko randi banade zyada kamai hojayega.agar mere complaint se koi problem ho kisi bhi randi k ladka ko to mujhe mere no par cal karo.mera no hai [protected]

I am vodafone user My number is[protected] ,Rs 33 has been dedected with out my permission from my mobile balance, when I spoke to customer care exc he told me, one of your service (Masti) is activited on my number but I never ask for that...


Please refund my amount Rs(33) as soon as you can.....as you know I can change my service provide with this same number.....do't force me to do so...

I have not opted for any service bt still i got a deduction and got a balance in minus. and all my services have been blocked since last 2 days. can u plz tell me wats the exact problem and how my balance got deducted unneccesarily.
