Vodafone — Rejection of MNP from Vodafone

Dear Sir/s,

I had requested for MNP dated 18 Feb 2011 on my Vod number [protected] to Idea Cellular. I am using the Vodafone Service since more than 3 years in MP-CG circle.

On my request No. VY135979, I got a reply message on 23 Feb 2011 (10.04 PM), that it has been rejected due to the number or range is in contractual obligations. What this nonsense is all about.

I had been facing severe network problem since two months and complained also twice to Vodafone about this. After that I had gone for the portability option. I have been a corporate CUG subscriber of Vodafone since 3 years. If this is the reason for rejecting my MNP request, then I have to unfortunately say that this whole process of MNP is nothing, but just a mockery to the telecom revolution in this country.

I hope that TRAI will take strict action against this asap.
