Vodafone — Blackberry service
They could not activate my black berry service even after assuring me 12 times!! It took three days for them where as it should have been four hours! this was a few months back and again the trend of the customer care not able to do anything has started.... lets see this time how many days do they take!! Already made six calls today! people spoken to :: Mina Sulchand Shinde, Ravi Raj, Chirag Patel, Sumit (last name unknonwn), two supervisors!! and every time I speak to them....... I get a message from them ::: Dear customer to know more about the latest products / services and special offers dial 121. this message was sent to to at 1:00 amShould sue this company
I have bought a blackberry curve which now comes with a year of bbm free...and i want net activated on my phone....but there is no such recharge for only internet for blackberry it comes with the bbm only...what should i do now?
I have followed the new advertisement of Vodafone where they would be giving free BBM (black berry messenger) services for one year on selected Blackberry handsets. I bought a new 8520 curve blackberry (8520 is under the list of selected handsets where they were giving this service) and inserted my vodafone sim 9 days back. Till date BBM services have not been activated. The call centre executives are highly unprofessional and disconnect the phone without talking completely. They just keep delaying the things. 5 days back, I formally asked them to give me a Service Req Number and a turnaround time. They give me a num:[protected] and 24 hours time. And till date, there is no resolution. I have e-mailed also but they just keep delaying the things by asking for more and more information. Meanwhile, their call centre exec asked me to activate a data plan of 95/- so that i can access internet. Now they are saying that since i have activated a data plan, so they cant provide free BBM services. Sometimes, their call centre asks me to just go to vodafone store since they cant help me from backend. Last time when I called them, call centre exec asked me to wait for more time and keep waiting. When I asked him to connect to a senior, he disconnected the call. Pls help.

Has there been any progress in the matter. The problem continues and i am unable to use the BB services for approx 10 days at my work location.

Its been 4 days my services are not active and today again i call the customer service to learn that they will log the comlaint today and my the services will be activated tomorrow.
Is this the kind of service vodafone provides?
I doubt if vodafone has a automated system to log a complain and close the issue.....
I was more happy with the services provided by HUTCH.
If this issue is not solved within a day, then i have decided to cancel my connection and go with another service provider.
FYI....I have been a Vodafone customer from past 12yrs.
