[Resolved]  Vodafone — Activation delay - Careless attitude

I took a new postpaid corporate plan 10 days back from the vodafone store, Vashi Mumbai. It has been more than 10 days and my service has not been activated yet, not even the verification has been done. This is not expected of Vodafone. When i called the customer care, the agent asked me to contact the vodafone store, and everytime i got to vodafone store at Vashi i have to wait for minimum 45 minutes just in queue to get myself heard. Staff in the vodafone store is very insensitive & rude to the customers and they always promise what they can not deliver. I was told that i will get the verification done by the end of the day the last day and it has not been done till yet. I am very much pissed off and going to discontinue the vodafone services (as if they were activated ever). The website is so slow that its not getting uploaded at my end, i cant get the email id where i can report my complaint. God help Vodafone and its customers. I believe the services were much better when it was Hutch (I have been using it from the past 3 years and now due to relocation to Mumbai had to take a new connection), but of course the Vodafone takeover has come with a cost to the customers on the service quality. I hope someone will listen and take action reading this mail.

I just read the previous complaint and feel the same is happening with me. I also bought a new postpaind connection with Vodafone from their Vodafone Store at Vashi. I also had a similar experience as the one stated by another vodafone struck ill fated person. Took me 45 mins to talk to someone and then was given this stupid connection which is not getting activated since 4 days now. Now when i call the customer care they say they have not received the papers which i personally submitted in the vodafone store at vashi. This girl with the name "Aarti" (at the store) promised me that the connection will be activated in 3-4 hours as all my papers were in place. God help me and all the other customers of VODAFONE now. I have been trying to talk again to the customer care but these insensitive people saying "we are happy to help" are actually disconnecting calls instead of providing a solution. Rightly said that vodafone has actually deterioted, what was hutch previously. I think it was too good at that time. By just wearing smart looking clothes, speaking good english and saying HAPPY TO HELP does not make the customers happy. Vodafone u really got to listen to them and solve there problems to become a customer centric company. Is somebody listening??? if yes contact me back on my email id [protected]@gmail.com.
I hope this serves sum purpose...we were trying to transfer the prepaid connection to postpaid the request was given 7-8 days back, now the prepaid has been deactivated and postpaid hasn't been activated, the Sr, executive Ms. Neha in Vashi vodafone store was completely not bothered and sed it wud b done in 2-4 hrs, and we are still waiting...iam so sick and tired of vodafone service it is the worst ever, all the verification has been done, and wen we go there they get back to us sayin all the process is over, then what on earth is takin so much time is beyond my understanding, i hav decided to take this to media, cos i hav had it to the maximum i cud...i want results and dat too immediate...
i ve read all the above complaints and it is absolutely true. i bought a prepaid sim from a shop who called himself an authorised vodafone dealer, me being an outstaion customer there was intial delay (5days) for the activation of my card, which is understandable due to security reasons. but what followed for the next week was the most harrowing experience, should be that way for most vodafone customers i think. my card was de-activated(within 4 hrs of activation) saying that my doccuments havent reached the vodafone office, i went to vashi store 2 times but cudnt fix the problem still. both the times i went there i was only canvassed about migrating to a post paid plan but there was never an attempt to re activate my card. and for the past two days i cudnt not even talk to the customer care executive over phone(vodafone care 111), and i cud hear only to computer recorded voice... it is time that someone takes over vodafone soon... it really is becoming a rotten squib when it comes to customer service
I have convert my post paid connection in to "prepaid " accont, but after 1 week i got an SMS stating that your doccuments are not submitted, though i have submitted all doq. with original verifiction. For activat same plan i had taken "Leave" for the day as i am staying at "Uran".
I really dont to what action is pending from my side, for the same issue, i have contacted to custamer care' but thay advise me to visit vashi office.
But this is not possible at all for me, even they are not willing to give me "Vashi centre" conatct no, so i can understand the cleare picture.
We need to take the stron action against VOdaphone service i.e. DABBPHONE
