[Resolved] Vodafone — Charging on 3G data plan | |||
Imposing charge on 3months 3G data plan on my new connection number [protected] which was valid for 3 billing cycle which company without any intimation terminated it and restricted all numbers related to my documents. Company assured me of providing 3G DATA PLAN service free for 3 month on new connection which i had taken but they terminated the plan at the end of 2nd month billing cycle and charged for 3rd month totally saying we never told this sort of plan & enforcing us to pay the entire data usage charge of Rs 4,599 or else they would send legal notice. We approached as well as called many times to their executives but they probably listen and never replied back. They have also terminated my another number [protected] because of this. I am very disappointed with this company and don't know what to do next. Was this information helpful? | |||

Verified Support Feb 12, 2013 Vodafone India Customer Care's response Hello Sourav, Please be confirmed that with the purchase of Samsung handset, 3GB data access was free on 3G platform with 60 days validity. The offer was activated on August 22, 2012. Accordingly, the data usage charges have been levied post the discount in the invoice dated November 10, 2012.
