[Resolved] Vodafone — Access bill amount | |||
Hi, This is in reference to the bill attached for my Vodafone no. [protected]. Issue: Bill amount is Rs. 3368 which is the highest ever. I have been with Vodafone since last 9 yrs and this is the first time I have received such high bill. Background: I had called on 6th or 7th Aug and got ‘Blackberry Services’ activated. I was advised by the executive that monthly rental would be Rs. 249 and I will be charged extra only for outgoing mails + net surfing. I was not advised at that point that I will be even charged for incoming mails. If you check, I had used Blackberry Services’ same plan 2-3 months back (Mar or April) and I was not charged anything extra. Complain: 1. I was not advised by the executive that I will be charged for incoming mails as well else I would have definitely not taken this plan. About Rs. 1700 has been charged for this. 2. Advance rental of Rs. 249 has been charged without any prior information given to me. Steps taken by me after bill received: 1. Called on 6th Sept after receiving SMS of my bill generation and spoke to Bhagat Singh (at about 1:20 pm) who promised callback from Complaints team within 2 hrs but no call received. 2. Called again at 8 pm on 6th Sept after waiting for almost 6 hours for callback and the executive put me on hold for about 43 mins saying that no supervisor is available and then line got disconnected. 3. Got call from ‘Jitender’ at 9:47 am on 7th Sept from 91 [protected] no. to whom I advised to listen to the call recording where I had spoken to the executive and taken blackberry services because I was 100% sure that I was given incomplete information during that time. I have still not received any callback after that. Request from my side: I am confident that I was given incomplete information, hence I have been asking the executives to listen to that call recording wherein I had got ‘Blackberry Services’ activated last month. This is the first time I had to make any such complain in 9 yrs. My bill payment date is 21st Sept and I need this issue to be resolved before that because I would not be paying this amount as its not my fault. I was given incomplete information from your end. Please sort it at the earliest else I will have no other way but to escalate it to consumer forum if it is not sorted as I have right to information and your calls should be retrieved/listened if asked by customer.
