[Resolved] Vodafone — Mobile Number [protected] - SIM not deactivated before assigning to new customer. | |||
New Mobile Corporate Connection taken from Vodafone last month. Mobile Number - [protected] (Vodafone - Kerala). Name: Rahul Somarajan Company: Cognizant Technology Solutions. Complaint: Getting lots of calls from different numbers asking for a person called Mr. Purushan. I think this phone number was not deactivated for minimum time duration required before assigning this as a new connection. When I checked up with the person who assigned this corporate connection, I was informed that this number was deactivated for 4 years. Vodafone has to really look into this issue. But how is that in a month itself it becomes so disturbing that I am forced to discontinue this connection. I was informed to check with the vodafone customer care number, but the customer care executive was also not able to help me in enabling DND OR PDNC service. I am forced to disconnect this mobile comnnection, else need to get PDNC (Private Donot Call Service) enabled for this phone number to add the list of numbers for which I donot want to receive calls. Before deactivating this connection because of this reason, just wanted to log a complaint regarding this in site. Hoping that some action will happen for assiging numbers to future customers by Vodafone - Kerala. Was this information helpful? | |||

Thanks for your offer for providing new connection as replacement.
But I am sorry. I have taken post paid corporate connection - for not to keep on changing my number frequently. If that was the case I would have easily opted for prepaid connection rather than going for a post paid connection.
I would be closing this mobile phone connection ASAP.
Tomorrow itself after paying the below bill at Vodafone Store, Kadavanthra OR to the person from whom I have taken this corporate connection, I will be disconnecting this.

Hope atleast next time you would assign numbers carefully (atleast for corporate connections), after deactivating the number for specific duration as per telecom policy.
