[Resolved]  Vodafone Mini Store - Pritam Telecom, Nehru Place — Negligence - Huge Bill March-April 2012

I am a regular Vodafone Postpaid connection user since 4-5 years on the number [protected]. Recently in march 2012 i had a plan for my vacation and so i thought of getting a GPRS/Internet connection/Mobile Internet package on my number so that i can use it during vacation for viewing maps/GPS etc so that it would be cheaper than Vodafone live which is costlier per kilobytes of data. So i went to Pritam Telecom, Shop No - 8, DDA Market, near 89 Hemkunt Chamber Nehru Place which is Vodafone Mini Store. I usually pay my bill in cash through them since December.

I went to this store on 19.03.12 and requested for an Internet package/mobile Internet service for Rs 200 for 3 GB data. They said that i will be getting a confirmation message tomorrow. Next day i had to go for the vacation and i didn't realized that the confirmation message never came. I used maps/GPS on my mobile during vacation which i thought was in a plan of 3 GB but i was heavily charged on per KB basis which i came to know on my next bill. It easy to see that why any person would be using such services on roaming without any plans which are available easily.

On 23.04.12 i got a call from Vodafone and they introduced a 3G service for Rs 200 for 500 MB data for which i refused due to fact that i am already having a plan of 2G service for Rs 200 for 3GB data. But he said that no such plan is activated on my number.

This is just due to Negligence and unprofessional behavior of this Vodafone Mini Store for which i have to suffer.
I request you to reverse this charges since the GPRS services are available at just Rs 200 and 3 GB free. I am ready to pay Rs 200 as GPRS services charges and not the entire charges.

You are still not working on the complaint, i told Mr. Kumar Vaibhav (Vodafone Nodal Executive Okhla) to start an enquiry in person to the Vodafone Mini Store and check whether why they didn't forwarded the request. I also requested to check my earlier conversations with the Vodafone Customer care executive, 23-24 april and also earlier conversation in April. It will clearly indicate that i was in the impression that Internet Pack of Rs. 200 for 3Gb is running on my account.

I have submitted my the bill payment (Total Bill - Internet Charges + Internet Pack (Rs. 200/-) ) on time but now whenever i call, it says (Hello your Vodafone is currently active, however please pay your outstanding at the earliest to avoid disconnection of your services).

Is this some kind of activity to harass the customer.
