Vodafone Mobile Connect USB Stick — Wireless Connection drops with poor performance

Paid Rs.5999 for the wireless mobile connect on 14/02/09..It never worked properly since the day of installation. Vodafone customer service is pathetic and Vodafone stores at four bungalow, Andheri(W), mumbai is like a fish market with many customers yelling loud at the sales people.The main interest of Vodafone management is to con the customers into buying thier unbaked services and products. I tried to return the product same day as it was not properly working but Vodafone conned me with sweet talk that the problem will be solved soon and more than a month passed without any solution. India will really shine if the management focuses on product quality, service level committmentsinstead of wasting more than 100 employee hours in deceiving the customers with false hopes and aggressive selling tactics of poorly tested products and services..

Vodafone telecom service — Poor customer service at Andheri vodafone store

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is to bring to your kind attention that you have one more customer added to the list of dissatisfied customers of Vodafone.

You probably may have lost count of the number on account of continuity in poor services you offer in the Vodafone store (Andheri) and at the call center.

I look forward to some time from your side to read through my grievance:

I had on July 27th given a name change request from my maiden name to my name post marriage. I was attended to by a CSE named Monali, who very sincerely (on the face) took note of my request and assured the change to be done in 4 working days.

When i checked the account post my return from overseas which was 20 days later, i realised that the account does not have the changes in corporated. I had informed the lady that the chnage needs to be done on time coz post that I need a corporate plan chnage, which is subject to the name chnage being done.

However the same was not ensured at the store. I then call the call center no [protected] where all I get as SERVICE is PASSING THE BUCK kind of story- "we do not have any details pls check with the store". I WONDER IF YOU HAVE A SYSTEM TO PAY YOUR CUSTOMERS to run FROM PILLAR TO POST, coz i hope you understand the working class has other things to do than just running between a bunch of poor service providers.

This morning (31st aug) i again went to the vodafone store Andheri and insisted to meet the lady Monali. I spoke with her and expressed my anxiety. Pls note my interaction with her:

I: asked her why the delay

She : You have only posted the request on 27th July.

I: well should that answer matter to me coz it is more than 30 days and that you assured me of the chnage to be done in 4 working days

I: asked her if they have a system of checking the queue of requests they send to th back office. Well now that's how any succesful organization works (I don't know about "THE HAPPY TO HELP" PROMISING ORGANIZATION.)

She: Mam, we have nearly 60 requests we receive every day and it is not manually possible for us to check every reqyst.

Now Mr Sarin, an advice for you. If your own employee does not believe they can help their customers, you probably need to revisit your capacities to get new accounts. Coz let me tell you u will still be spending all the money on mktg your brand and on the other side lose out on your customers by your AMAZING customer service such as this.

I: how long will it take?

She: another 3 days

I: shouldnt this get dont on priority. coz its a delay at your end

She: that's the time it takes

I: you need to call me back...

She: with great reluctance she agrees

She calls me once again to the store asking me for additional docs which were never told before. She asks me to pose for a picture on her local camera coz she wants a photo of the customer on the file. (says the procedure had chnaged)- well the procedure need not be folowed here since the request was long pending from the store's side

Mr Sarin, dont you think it is incorrect to encourage photography of customers on their local mobiles. What is the surety that this will not be misused against me. What if some one would have taken your pic at random and assured you of non misuse.

I was assured a call by Monali from andheri store by end of day- have received no calls and no revert.

I am also registering this complaint in the consumercomplaint.in website to let your prospective and existing customers to make their of service.

If not dealt promptly this time, i will resort to taking my business to any other service provider.
