[Resolved] Vodafone — Breach of Service Agreement | |||
I use a Vodafone number [protected] which is registered in my husband's name. This number is being used since the last 5months. Every bill has been duly paid before the due dates. On 28th July my husband went to the Vodafone Gallery at Lower Parel and paid a security deposit of Rs 3000/- to activate Internatioal Roaming as i am travelling abroad this evening. However instead of providing the service as agreed they have disconnected my outgoing calls completely. Their claim is that there is an outstanding payment on some other numbers in my husband's name and hence the services have been terminated to my number. This is 1. Illegal. Every number has a contract attached to it and both parties are bound by the same contract. One cannot link the two which amounts to blackmail. They are unable to claim the money for the other numbers as the other numbers have been overbilled and there is no proof to claim. They refuse to refund the deposit without providing the services I have to travel tonight. What do I do? Was this information helpful? | |||
