[Resolved] Vodafone Poor Service — Failure to comply with service subscribed
Never trust what a service person says. Vodafone sold me a good deal with a promise to switch to my desired service 2 months later. I bought a 2 month Rs. 1500 4GB plan for my phone and data card which was supposed to be switched back to Rs. 250 1GB plan. The service guy never switched the plan and I lost all the savings and ended up paying more including all the frustration of visiting the Vodafone outlet 3 times to ensure they indeed did make the change. Ask them for a reference # else the service guy will cheat you, I think they are trained to cheat :-). I am ready to switch all my services, 2 phones and a data card to another provider. The funny part is they randomly call you (they are asked to) to find out is the client happy and when you start complaining they pretend to help you and as soon as you ask for a reference number, they will hang up on you :-). A guy by name Kiran called me 15 minutes ago and he did exactly that, hung up on me after making me wait for 5 minutes pretending to give me a reference #. I actually suspect all mobile service providers except Tata (I am assuming) are taking advantage of large and a growing Indian economy as frustrated clients don't make any difference. As they say every dog has its day and theirs will come. Please keep up with complaints to expose Vodafone. Was this information helpful?

Vodafone — poor service and poor website
I live in America and travel to Italy 1/year. I have been a Vodafone client for the past 15 years and to date the Vodafone website has not updated its old method of recharging online one's cell phone. So, when I am in America for 6 months and my "scheda" is out of money, the Vodafone website offers ZERO OPTIONS FOR RECHARGING YOUR CELL PHONE FROM ABROAD. I' m amazed that this company is still living in the past when it comes to technology. Also, when I call Italy to speak with a Vodafone operator, they speak with a poor attitude: they are very abrupt, rude and they hang up.Most Vodafone phone operators are quite uneducated; poorly trained.
I't appears I am finally going to switch over to "WIND". I hear they are much more efficient in this regard.
