[Resolved] Vodafone Postpaid — Charged huge amount on name of default services | |||
I am a new customer for Vodafone. I bought 2 postpaid numbers (CUG plans 325 rental) last month. I got first bill generated for my mobile numbers and it is approx. 6000 Rs. When I analyzed with customer care I came to know it is due to Internet charges, it is 2590 and 2172 rs respectively on each number. I explicitly said no to any Internet plan on my mobile numbers, as I bought another Vodafone data card (with 1599 rental plan) for Internet usage. I never give request for Internet plan I never asked for any GPRS settings I never asked for any Internet configuration settings But Vodafone executive says this is default service which they activate for all customers whether you need it or not. But they never disclose the charges and service details for these default services at the time we bought connection.They said in welcome letter they mentioned about the charges but I did not receive any welcome letter. It was the worlds costliest Internet service I have ever seen. they charged 10 Rs/MB. and i dont know how they calculate the usage. they charges huge amount for the service which is not requested by customer.
