The[protected] is a prepaid connection since Jan 2005.
On 03/05 I went to Vashi Store of Vodafone to change my plan from pre-paid to post-paid.
Depending upon my usages, the store executive suggested a plan and at the same time I am surprised to know that there no balance in my card.
I had more than Rs 4000 balance in my card.
The store executive said the validity of the last recharge was upto 24/03.
Since I did not recharge the card within 15 days from the validity, hence the balance has become zero.
I am shocked by listing this. I had an argument with that executive on the same issue.
As per him, this is policy of the Vodafone and he asked to escalate the matter to the customer care by e-mail as he can not do anything on this matter.
I remember I had I word with your Customer Care executive over telephone on 26/03 regarding plan change. The Registration No was[protected].
The executive of your Customer Care did not inform me to recharge the account within 15 days to retain the balance amount.
I feel I am cheated & duped by Vodafone.
It is the responsibility of Vodapone to inform the me about the validity. Neither there was any SMS or phone call on this.
Secondly when I called up your customer care on 26/03, I was not told about this. I remember I was told to recharge before 22/06 for the validity of the cell phone no.
In fact I asked the lady for the change of plan from pre-paid to post-paid so that the I will avoid the hassle of recharging from time to time for the validity issue.
To my utter surprised, she did not say a single word on the account balance would be nullify in 15 days time.
This shows that, the negligence of Vodefone not to inform me the details of accounts and the precaution I have to take to enjoy the facility from Vodafone.
Inspite of being customer friendly and customer orientated, vodafone furnished part information like to recharge the card before 22/06.
I have been holding the connection from Vodafone for last 5 years, inspite of so many good offer from other GSM / CDMA operators.
Therefore I am requesting Vodafone to go through the details and credit the balance amount to my account and help me changing the plan which is suitable to me.
Looking forward to hear from you at the earliest.
Thanks
