A copy of my mail to the Vodafone Nodal Officer Dear sir, I am writing this mail finally after i got fed up calling Vodafone customer care people 6 times in the last 10 days regarding an issue without a solution. My mobile number: [protected] Location: Pondicherry My Issue: I was using this number in reliance network until i switched over to Vodafone under MNP 2 weeks back. When i was in reliance i had been receiving a lot of promotional calls which was irritating a lot, which forced me to switch over to other network. Even after swithing over to Vodafone i had been receiving the same promotional call from RELIANCE. I called up Vodafone customer care and informed the issue 10 days back. They told me that the issue will be solved quickly. But still after 10 days the issue is not yet solved. Yesterday (14.03.2011) i called up vodafone customer care for the 6th time and informed them. Still the same without a solution. Today i tried to call Vodafone customer care to inform about the same issue, but they have completely blocked access to my mobile number from calling them and they are flooding my mobile with a lot of Push message to subscribe to their services. I didnt expect this kind of irresponsibility from Vodafone customer care people. I am totally fed up with this issue and finally thinking of moving to Consumer court. Vodafone — Irresponsible people
I earlier was using Vodafone Postpaid connection. Sometimes later I called up the customer care and informed them that i am going out of state and would like to cancel the connection. I also sent a mail to them a number of times stating them that i wish to discontinue their vodafone services and abandon the number.After two months, to my surprise, i started getting bills to my old address and also i got mails frequently to pay the money for those two months which i had not used the SIM. It is only the monthly rental. I replied them via email that i have already requested them to discontinue the services and i wil not be responsible for the bills generated after the request.
However, they replied that they had called me on my new mobile number and verified if i really want to drop the Vodafone SIM. Since i was in traffic, i didnot hear anything clearly and told them " Yes". Taking this into account they had not cancelled my Connection and started sending bills.
Till now its 5 months and they are not bothered about my request for de-activation but sending me bills every months. What to do..? This really annoys me. And i would like to register a complaint against Vodafone to the consumer court. Is it possible..?? Can any one suggest me what to do inorder to register a complaint?
