Vodafone — Unfair communication and Billing | |||
Hi, I have a Vodafone postpaid connection with the number [protected]. I had bought a Samsung Galaxy S3 about three months back with which a received an SMS about a 2GB data plan which i would have received free for two months. This message was communicated to me by Vodafone. Last month my pack ran out and there was no phone Call/messgae/ email from Vodafone that my 3g pack will run out. For this month bill i have charged a huge sum of 4000Rs just for 3g usage charges as I was not aware that I was charged under normal surfing rates. I called up Vodafone Customer Care and they said, there is no such policy. I have two points to be explained: 1) When Vodafone can send hundreds of messages for offer, why cant you inform me when my 3g pack is running out and there is some abnormality in my usage patterns. 2) It is not the question of whether I can pay the bill or not, it is the matter of ethics and how you handle your customers. I feel cheated and miscommunicated. I feel that if I have to pay the money anyhow, me and my friends would be moving to a new network altogether where I get a better customer service.
