[Resolved]  Vodafone — Vodafone false billing of 5000/- in the name of 3g just for 10 days! Vodafone 3g billing complaint, Bangalore

Hello, I am Narasinga from Bangalore, same thing happens to me recently, Vodafone cheating like anything customers, I have taken 3g plan which Advance rental 1500/- for 2 months rental free, but first 15 days i did not connect the network at all, for that i raised complaint to customer care complaint number is [protected], they were taken very light and telling every-time they are going to do some national roaming, that will take some time, later on i was connected finally after a month i got billed 5600/- i just shocked, i really did not understand i was not connected properly hardly i used last 10 days which also with intermediate issues more over i paid 1500/- initially..
But here very bad thing they are sending demand notice to pay full amount immediately, and they were keep on calling me and shouting me to pay the money otherwise they will go legally, But when i asked them to send a bill, they were not sending, please suggest me, what should i do.
i want the justice on this.

I WAS YOURCUSTOMER FOR ABOUT 10 MONTHS HAVING MY CELL NO [protected].I HAD CLOSED MY ACCOUNT IN DEC 2008 AND GIVEN BACK THE SIM CARD AT YOUR AUHORISED SERVICE STATION PERSONALY BY SETTLING THE ACCOUNT DUE WITH ME .EVENAFTER THAT I HAVE RECIEVED THE INVOICESOF THE SAME NUMBER.THE AMOUNT RS700/- IS UNNECESSARILY RECOVERED BY VODAFONE.MANY TIMES I WENT TO YOUR OFFICE, BUT EVERY TIME FALSE COMMITMENT IS GIVEN THAT WEWILL REFUND THIS AMOUNT.TILL DATE IT IS NOT REFUNDED.

Vodafone — False demand for Money

Its been more than 20 days since I had complaint to vodafone against its Legal Team for harassing me to recover money even though I have made the Full Payment Rs 7500 but still no response from Vodafone on the complaints made to them.

They will not take any action against their Legal Team for harassing and threatening customer to do the payment. They will only keep sending notes saying we regret the inconvenience caused to the customer but never take action and tell the customer that we have taken such an action.

They are scared to promise that they will not adopt such threatening tactics in future. This shows that they purposely do such things and proves that all their talk of Good Customer Service is nothing but a farce. They openly flout the Code of Conduct laid down by the government for telecom companies.

Corporates like Vodafone are not scared to flout the rules in India as they think they have the money and muscle to taken on any case in the court and therefore they continue to follow the ill - practices in their organization.

Its a shame that common people like us cannot stand up and fight because we do no have strong implementation of consumer protection laws.

Companies like Vodafone will continue to harass the customers in India. This shows their High Handed attitude and arrogant behavior.

Instead of taking action, they keep sending false demand of more money from the customers. This is ridiculous!!
Im sorry to hear this from Vodafone... This is appalling!!

I have done full payment of all the outstanding dues to Vodafone. I have paid Rs. 7500 on 12-April 2011 and it was a final amount that was asked to be paid by your employee - An Assistant Manager from your Legal team after settling my Security Deposits of Rs. 1500.

My objection is that this Legal Team - Assistant Manager hired people to call me and threaten me of dire consequences if i did not do the entire payment which was more than what I owe to Vodafone. Finally he settled my Security deposits and asked me to do a payment of Rs.7500 which I did.

However, I have raised a complaint against the manner in which i was armtwisted and threatend to do the payment. Instead of taking action against such employees who resort to such practices agaisnt the law, you are asking me to do payment... for what????????

Vodafone knows how to cheat people in India and they will continue do so since no action is taken against them. I have been demanding a compensation of Rs. 10000/- for harrasing me and my family.

Now you have left me with no option but to take legal recourse and appeal in the court of law against Vodafone.

Vodafone — Bogus Billing

I had activated a Blackberry Internet plan on my number on 5th of April'2011 i had Rs. 2499/-.
In this plan I had a facility for unlimited usage of Blackberry + Internet service for 6monthes which was supposed to expire on 5th of October'2011 but the Vodafone company has illegally charged me additional Rs. 599/- for the same plan for the billing period 19the September' 2011 to 18the October'2011 and threats about barring of telephone service if the same is unpaid which is very unetheical as they are charging twice for the same service provided.
The Vodafone company is just looting its customers by not explaning the plan charges and hidden cost of activation to its customers which is so unprofessional on their side and if they expect the customers paying the hidden and purposefully applied charges by them on customers then they should even deduct the money from customers bill for the inconvenience caused to customers by them because of their network and server issues which goes down for almost 10days a month, they should charge the customers only for 20days on pro-rata basis and not for the whole month as dey do not provide the service for the entire month.
Vodafone is just degrading its standards day by day which has made itself a worst service provider company now in the views of many.
Thanks to number portability now i can port out to some better company.

I total agree with your remarks against vodafone Even am facing same situation with this service provider.
please don't any postpaid connection from vodafone, they are doing manipulated bills and looking for money from the customers.
