[Resolved] Volkswagen - Vento — PPS Motors-Poor Service | |||
I hope someone from Volkswagen is listening. I bought VW-Vento in the very month of its launch. I had great hopes about its service quality, but I am fully disappointed. This so called German car maker had forgotten what is quality of service after they opened shop in INDIA! They are as good as any other company in India for "poor quality of service". They are interested only in selling cars and least bothered about service. For Hyderabad you will see only one workshop listed on VW site. They don't even provide a consumer complaint email or phone numbers. In Hyderabad PPS Motors (Orion motors) in Madhapur is the service provider and they never stick to their commitments. I wonder when they will provide good quality workshops along with selling their so called international brands. Lesson- Do not fall for their brand marketing! I am sure almost every customer of Volkswagen has one or the other issue with the ppc motors. They are actually cheating the customers by levying them with repair and serivice charges which otherwise if attended in time before the guarantee period would have been covered. I had complained about my ac being not very effective during the last period of service under the warranty period. They said it's perfect and everything seems to be good. I specifically told them if there is anything that needs to be taken care of ... Please do so as this will be the last service under the warranty period...and they told me everything was in condition. Now three months after my ac has totally stopped giving out any cold air...I took my car to the service centre and they told me the ac compression has failed...now it costs me 75000 to fix it...I am flabbergasted and I plan to take this very seriously...if my car has shown signs of failure genuinely after the service period I would not mind getting it done...but this a serious case of felony and customer cheating. If a dealer has failed then it's company has failed too...you can earn profits but by cheating your own customers is an insult to the company. I am going to file case at the local consumer court very soon. I am not doing this to get my ac fixed free or something...I am going to do this because I want them to know the hardships of facing justice behind an act of felony.

I dont know if its the GERMAN way of handling and responding to the customer!! Volkswagen are you listening to customer comments! If you are dumb and sleeping you will lose the Indian market share because of these kind of dealers.
My sincere advice to people buying Volkswagen in Hyderabad is not to go to the Jubilee HIlls showroom. I heard that the Secunderabad dealer is much better compared to these guys. Also if possible try to avoid Volkswagen brand because after Sales service is also pretty bad.
