[Resolved]  Western Railways — Illegal Passengers in Rajdhani Exp.

Dear Sir,
Re- Startling incident on UP Rajdhani Express dated 10th instant- COMPLAINT
Around 4.00 p.m. the undersigned and the co-passengers noticed that four families of 12 passengers (plus children) were in the train coach no B-4 and had only 2 RAC.
We told them that in Rajdhani such passengers would not be permitted. The passengers replied that the TCs told them to board the train and the arrangement would be made. We once again reminded them, but to no result.
The TC Mr Harendra Mishra came to check the tickets almost after more than 3 hours. ( ??)
We objected to him as the noise during the intervening period became unbearable.
He took it casually and lightly and told us that he allowed them as there were ladies and children.
We told Mr Mishra that the group was advised much in advance of the train departure and suggested to catch the next Paschim Express train in unreserved compartment. He was also told about the matter of the so called arrangement with the TC as explained by the passangers.
There was no action.
We called for complaint book. In return the TC started sending the passengers to us asking for our favour and not to object. We were put to an embarrassing situation. We told the passengers that we had nothing to do with them.We again objected to the TC for no result.
Is it so that on a prestigious train like Rajdhani Express such arrangements are possible with the blessings of the authority?
What would be the state of the other trains?
Particularly when the Railway Minister boasts to compete with the Air travel.
I would lodge this complaint before you as your eye opener and for suitable action.
My PNR No was -[protected] and the seat no was -0057 in B-4 compartment.
I would be interested in knowing the status of the complaint.
