[Resolved]  Western Railways — Non availability of coupon validating machine at the landing of Sky walk, Bandra

It has been enforced by the WR that sky walk users using the railway facility to come from Bandra(East) to Bandra(West) is required to have platform ticket. The logic is appreciated as railway deserves to get compensated for using their facility. However, as one lands from Bandra (E) side for going to Bandre(W), there is no coupon validating machine available at the landing of the sky walk and the commuter is required to walk back to the ticket counter area for doing the needful. Many a times the coupon validating machines remain out of order and there remains long queus in front of the ticket windows. As a result the users of skywalk has suffer the wrath of the corrupt railway officials who avails such opportunity to warm their pockets. It is therefore suggested that at least two coupon validating machines should be installed at the landing of the skywalk at the Bandra platform.
