[Resolved]  Woodland Shoes — Bad quality and service of company

Dear Sir,



My name is “ANILKUMAR PATIL” working with “WELSPUN GROUP” as “MANAGER –PROJECT”.



I had purchased woodland shoes no: 52777 (khaki), from woodland store M/S: vikas enterprise, Gandhidham on 30/9/07.



But, within a week I found that the stitching of one shoe is getting off…and shoe is not in condition to wear any more….for same I had drawn the attention of the shop owner…and he had promised to made it repaired from woodland factory…as he has gave me the guarantee of one year in any case of damage he will repair it free of cost….



After that I went to some my business trip to Delhi, and after returning on 3/2/08 I gave it for repairing……now after 10 days….I made call of inquire to him and he has replied me that” my shoes are not repairable and will not be return….if I need new shoes I have to pay 50% of my shoe value which is about 1100 INR.”



Sir, can you justify this matter? Why my shoes are not repairable though wood land gives the guarantee of one year? Why my shoes are not returnable? Why I have to pay 50% of shoe value?



I am the user of woodland from last 16 years….I had use about 6 pairs of woodland series….but I had never face such problem…this time I caught…but not getting proper response. Can you help me in this matter?

I had been perched a pair of Woodland shoe from SUMANGAL (AUnit of Dhanani Shoes Ltd.) Guwahati on 28.09.10 of Rs.2495/-. Suddenly I show the shoe's Shold has been broken. Yet one year not completed I am surprised as Woodland Shoe. I complain the Retail shop immediately. But they can not do any thing. Now, I am going to Delhi for few days for my private job. I’m a regular at woodland, I bought a pair of shoes around 40 days ago, it had a problem, the stitching was loose, gave it to be mended and they just made it worse, a waste of Rs. 4495.00. I bought it from pune, satara road branch, and gave it there itself for mending, I have clicked 3 photoes showing the loose stitch, how it should have been done and the way it was done, I’m really dissatisfied. Hi I am Ratheesh and I purchased a Woodlands show from Marathahalli, bangalore Showroom. After 6 months o[censored]sage one of my shose got a slight damage. When I purchased the shoe it was told that the shoe will have lifetime warrenty and service. Go to any showroom without the bill it will get repaired. But when I visited the Jayanagar showroom for the service I did not get any help. It is pathetic and poor service from a company like this. Either you have to accept that the shoes are of bad quality or you have to remove the advertisement of lifetime service. Only after one week it feel very uncomfortable and starting pain in my foot and in fingures.

SHOP NAME ---- AERO CLUB, BSK 3rd STAGE, BANGALORE 560085.

I purchased this sandals in the month of March, 2011. Since then, I am having the problem in the back strap, when you walk wearing it, it just flips down. When I asked the Store Manager, I was told that it would get adjusted as I use it for couple of weeks. After almost 1 month, as there was no improvement, I had given the sandals to repair it, they had almost taken a month to return but " NOTHING WAS DONE, IT REMAINED THE SAME".

After using the same for almost 20days, again I gave it for the service - 2nd Service - NOTHING WAS DONE. IT REMAINED THE SAME.

I was told to use the same for one month and it would get adjusted, did the same as per their words. I am really disappointed to tell you that there was no proper service given and in the 3rd service - NO ACTION HAD TAKEN, IT WAS JUST THE SAME AS IT WAS BOUGHT.

As this process almost went for 10 to 11 months, I am being told that it cannot be replaced as it is 10months old. But I need an explanation on the below queries.

* Why was a faulty piece given at the start?
* Why didn't the store manager gave a replacement at the start rather convinced customer to use it with the just service, despite knowing that the service/repair was not done?


Now its almost since 45 days, I have been liaising with the customer care and the store where I bought it, and I have not got the sandals back.

I WILL NOT TAKE MY SANDALS BACK UNTIL THIS IS BEEN ACTIONED BY GIVING A REPLACEMENT. I AM REALLY DISAPPOINTED THE WAY THIS ISSUE IS BEEN HANDLED. I AM BEING A REGULAR CUSTOMER OF WOODLANDS AND NEVER EXPERIENCED THIS BEFORE.

PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS AS A PRIORITY AND DO THE NEEDFUL.
The pair I had bought, the one foot has changed the color the one became darker than other. When reported, told to carry to any wood land branch, handed over to kalyan, Shewaji Chowk branch, they accept for the company to decide. after 15-20 days got call from the shop I canhave any other product. There should have been option for refund as well why not ? .
As the Kalyan branch had no choice Ihad been toPune tried one paid the difference R560.00 no reciept was issued and was told I should get the receipt back at Kalyan branch . The shoe I had tried has some defect so the sales man brought another pair as I was rushing for train took the shoes when bakc to Ulhas, tried the shoes, could not get into .
Went back in the eeveningto Kalyan branch as they were to issue the reciept but, they said they never got details from Pune so I have to wait, when I said for the change they said when I had reciept it could be .
wnet back back aweek after no reciept no choice of shoes they never ordered for renovation purpose.

It is very sorry business of woodland, they are not straight forward

WOODLAND — service not accepting

My name is rohid.T.H,yesterday i went to woodland shoe showroom near pad ma theathre,MG road,ernakulam..but the store manager told that they will not acccept the shoe for servicing.I had the bill with me .But they told very badly to give it to another showroom.I took it to Oberon mall and showd there,they also didnt took the servicing.Both the store managers didnt have mentallity to see the shoe.

I am also a victim of WOODLAND. My name is Col SPS Rawat and my experience with the WOODLAND company has been horrifying. At my age ie 48 years the company has the audacity to impart education on how to polish a shoe. They infact have gone to the extent by saying that either the shoe has wrongly been polished with an unsubscribed polish which sounds ridiculous and absolute rubbish. Dear readers they have also made a mention through their customer care Mr BHUVAN, that shoe has been cleaned using sand paper. Does'nt this sound illogical? The company should have the guts to convey the truth rather than shielding themselves. Whether I get a replacement or not, it does'nt make any difference but a message has been conveyed. I know large number customers have been victim of WOODLAND . If the company is not ready to carry out refund or replacement then better they should pack up and move out, rather than making fool out of innocent customers . This speaks of company's attitude. But he repaired only stitching and did not give any invoice or slip for the warantty. and stitching getting off again.within amonth of repairing.

i purchasaed woodland shoe of 3295 RS.
model number GB 0433107 green 40 footwear (leather).purchased from woodland showroom at sangli at ram mandir road near pushkaraj chouk.
that shoe having tongue problem and need to replace.
at the time of purchaing that shopkeeper told me that if you will have any problem within 6 months then we will surely replace your footwear.
but when i went to that woodland showroom that shopkeeper was telling the foolish reasons and said we can't do anything and we can't help you in that.
but i forced them for replacing my shoe then they kept my shoe there and after few days they called me and told me that it will take 25 days to repair.
what should i do sir.
3295/- is not less amount.
and i will surely go to consumer court for to file a complaint for my issue.
help me if possible.
otherwise i have to chose another way for this.
hi this is kumar i had purchased sandal model no is GD 0841110 on the date of 3/11/2012 in Hyderabad in your branch which located at Hubsiguda these people are selling duplicate chappals on yoUr brand name can't you able to check what is going on ? and one more thing at Ur showroom there is no body responsible person for the customers. My complaint is the pasting of the sandal is removing with in one month is it possible? so please rectify my problem. The showroom in-charge is telling that it will take time for one week is it true. Woodland Shoes — Leather laces torn within a week of use

I purchased a Woodland shoe model GC100310 from its outlet Aero Club in Nainital, India when I was travelling in India in April 2013. The leather lace of the shoe broke within one week, and I have not been able to purchase a new set of laces in any their stores in Kathmandu, Nepal
Dear Sir,

This is the with the reference to the same above subject that I have bought the shoes on 25.08.13 from your GIP, Noida outlet but after 15 days it was torned from its soul I was surprised that how is it possible in Woodland brand.

For the 1st time I have gone woodland and never thought this problem will happen with such a big brand and outlet people have refused to replace, you are requested to kindly look into this matter.
