I decided to buy tv from croma due to tata name, despite i was having a deal option of buying same television with 1350 rs lesser price. On 13th of oct i did booking for tv with confirmation from croma that tv will be delivered and installed on sat and thats why i went to book on friday, as my kids wanted to see bahubali 2 on sunday in new tv. Now they key sequence of events. On sat morning i went and made full payment and i was told tv will get installed by 5 pm. I asked sales person to give me contact number of croma wakad (From where i purchased), so that i can follow up in case tv doesn't come on time. I also purchased 2 year extended warranty. I was explained that 2 year will start after 1+1 year warranty covered in my purchase, if i don't use warranty services in 2nd year. But if i use it in 2nd year, extended warranty will start from 2nd year.. I asked, how do i get this rule in writing, they said they will get an email sent on this.. As soon as i reached home, i got a call from samsung call center that they have an extended warranty which i can buy. I told that i already bought. He said it doesn't show in his record.. Than he said, croma would have given its own extended warranty.. Than i checked the pemplate which croma person had given to me. I saw the warranty was not even from croma, but they also had outsourced from a 3rd party provide onsitego.. I was shcoked that i was sold something in which a buyer by default will assumed extended warranty is coming samsung.. While selling croma didn't talk about this.. So while they didn't lie, they didn't inform me.. So my purchase was not an informed decision (3) out of anxiety i called up the number given by sales person to check if delivering is on track.. Again to my surprised sales person had given me call center number and thats too old number, while i had explicitly asked to give wakad center contact number, as i didn't want to go thru call center on 1st day of buy. As usual, call center people didn't had record on any delivery of my tv.. When i lost tempered, they recorded my complaint.. After multiple calls, finally at 6:30 pm tv got delivred at my home.. When i asked delivery person to install and get it started, he said, someone will come in next 48 hrs i. E. On monday.. I was shocked again, as i was promised that it will be installed by 5 pm on sat. I asked delivery person to call sales person of croma wakad (As i was not having number), to my surprise even sales person started saying that he had never commited that installation will happen today.. After lost of argument he said, he himself with on expert from showroom will come and installed in next 30 min. I person comes, and to my surprise he had never done installation, he was trying first time on my tv.. However somehow he managed to get it started.. However he cund't give demo to me, as didn't knew all feature.. He said he will get demo arranged soon..in the whole process free speaker was missed in delivery. To be fair i was told by sales person that he had missed it in billing, so now it will come on monday. Since monday i am trying to reach showroom team to get speaker, but somehow call always goes to call center, even if i dial back the number from which i got call from show room. After complain to call center, i get a call from showroom yday that today (Wed) someone will for demo.. Just now i got message from samsung that my demo request is cancelled.. Not sure why and who cancelled it.. Anyway, after buying tv on sat, today i am sitting on wed night, i am yet to get demo, yet to get my free speaker and yet to get a show room contact number where i can give call to know the status.. And now i am tiered of calling to call center and keep giving them same information and complaints.. When i got mail for review and to get 5% discount coupon, i thought i will not give review, as review was for samsung product.. However i wanted to give review on croma services.. But finally i thought this is the only forum i can give details of extremely poor services from croma... With this kind of review i am anyway not expecting any discount coupon, however i hope someone from croma looks into service quality, else no wonder people will start buying from amazon, as only reason i bought from croam was comfort of dealing in physical form and with people.. But if in the end u have deal with call center, than people will start going to online and/or any other known dealer who gives better pricing.. As service differentiation is anyway in - ve zone.
