I ordered a mobile phone worth ₹19, 999 from Croma via the Tata Neu platform, opting for EMI payment through my credit card.
Order confirmed and dispatched – tracking ID provided via Blue Dart.
After 12 days of no delivery, I contacted Croma and was told the order was put on hold at the merchant’s request. Blue Dart confirmed the same.
No prior communication was given by Tata Neu or Croma regarding this hold or the reason for it.
The order was cancelled only after my repeated follow-ups, and the refund was initiated on 01/08/2025.
My key concerns:
Why was my order placed on hold by Croma without any intimation?
Why did Tata Neu allow cancellation after such a delay, without informing me proactively?
Why was the refund processed only after I called?
I have incurred EMI interest and processing charges for 15 days for a product I never received.
There is no assurance that my EMI transaction will be reversed from the bank side.
Request:
Written explanation from Tata Neu/Croma for the cancellation and delay.
Confirmation and proof of EMI reversal from the bank/NBFC.
Full reimbursement of EMI interest and processing charges caused by this cancellation.
A stronger process to prevent such negligence in the future.

It's now been more than 3 weeks since my issue was reported, neither Tata Neu or croma has contacted me for any resolution.
