Croma — Urgent: Incorrect IMEI on Invoice Has Resulted in Incorrect FIR and CEIR Reporting

Dear Croma Customer Support,
I am writing to report a serious issue regarding my recently purchased iPhone 17. I have discovered that the IMEI printed on my Croma invoice is incorrect and does not match the IMEI of my device.
Unfortunately, my phone was stolen, and I used the IMEI mentioned on the invoice to file an FIR. As a result, the FIR contains an incorrect IMEI, and I am also unable to complete the CEIR registration. This error has created unnecessary legal complications and may adversely affect the investigation and recovery of my phone.
I request you to urgently:
Verify the correct IMEI of my device.
Issue a corrected tax invoice or an official letter confirming the correct IMEI.
Provide appropriate compensation for the inconvenience, mental distress, and hardship caused due to this error.
If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will be compelled to seek appropriate legal remedies under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
