[Resolved]  Cvnaukri / CVBuzz — Fraudulent refund online - collecting payments from customers

Address:Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh

Hi,

This is with regards to fraudulent job portals that are collecting online payments for fake services that are never provided.

I am currently on job search & like most o[censored]s, I created a profile on Naukri.com & availed few paid services (rs. 130) of jobs update. However, daily sms from Naukri said there were no jobs matching my profile. Few weeks down the line I get a call from a Lady (mobile no. [protected]) saying since they have no matching profile they will refund all money paid by me & said a refunds personnel (phone no. .+[protected] would call me. This refunds person asked me to key in all bank details in a separate website (CVBUZZ) saying its Naukri's refund gateway n all refunds are processed through CVBUZZ. However, I was apprehensive and questioned him that it is a payment gateway but he assured me that no amount would get debited from my bank account and in the end a refund form would pop-up. However, there was no pop-up of refund form and rs. 1750 got debited from my account. When I immediately checked & questioned the person on the debited amount, he said it was some systems error and that I could go and collect the entire refund amount (rs. 3130) plus rs. 1750 error amount from nearby Naukri office in Hyderabad (cheque/DD).
I doubted and gave a call to Naukri office in Hyderabad directly and the lady there said they never process refunds & that people who called me were from CVNaukri which is not a part of Naukri!!! - So, rs. 1750 was a loss.

Also, there is another NaukriAlertz.com which claims to be part of Naukri and charges a heavy fee of rs.[protected] for its services but never provides any job opportunities. I researched in google & found many people have paid money to them only to get doomed. I have name & phone no. of one of the NaukriAlertz Agent who spoke to me (Aryan-[protected]) which may be helpful incase he gave me the correct details.

Please let me know how help would be provided in this regard. I am not keen opn getting my money back...I want these fradulent portals n offices to be blacklisted so that no one else will loose their hard earned money.

Hi

I was constantly getting a call from a [protected] & [protected]. Today morning when I finally picked up the call, a guy from CV buzz online told me that he was calling on behalf of a software company and started asking what I do and what is my highest education.

When I counter questioned him, he started lying that he just had an overview of my profile and not the full resume. It instantly woke me up and asked him to call after sometime. On that he mentioned that I need to be online and I need to register myself for a Rs. 1750/- instantly.

The more I asked for details, he kept on stressing about the registration part.

After an hour or so, he called up again asking me to register with them immediately. When I asked for the company name and other job details, he started blabbering out and finally spurted out HCL's name and went on describing a junior recruitment profile.

I instantly retorted back and asked for the company's location, which he said that it was a location very near to my residence, which I know is false.

I asked him and his team members to stop this nasty scheme of earning fast money immediately or I would be bound to take some legal action against them. On this moment, he disconnected the call in a haste.

Though I had been in this industry for more than a five years, and I know what kind of frauds take place in the name of placements, thus would request each and every job seeker to be very alert before making any payments or indulging any bank details to any person who is not fully known to you or comes from a trusted brand.

Hi Guys,

CV BUZZ is a fraud.

I too got a call from CVBuzz today, but as I wanted to check its website these posts appeared and when I enquired about this,
the guy just hung up.
I got a call from this number - +[protected]

Many Thanks for posting this.
Today I got call from[protected]. They told me that I am short listed by them. They ask me pay 1750 same as you guy's. I also done all procedure then they ask to pay 5499 for verification charges but thank god I had not sufficient balance. He told me that he will call me tomorrow for payment of further amount. I am too worried about this. If I said I don't want that job and I want my money back, will they give my money back..?
Very bad experienced. My account is got debited for twice. Till the payment, they spoke very nicely and show patience as it was not getting through. as soon as Rs.1750/- x 2 amount credited to their account, phone is transferred to another guy and he is talking very rudely.

I Want to know there is there any procedure to launch a complaint against this type of fraud people if anyone know please post you suggestion and we all will try to teach them a lesson so that no other person will survive what we faced.

I to had got the same call about some job recruitment in skoda company yesturday. The person told me to pay a cash of 1750 rs.In the mean time one of my friend(ROHIT) also got a call saying that he will be placed in some company near to our location.so I and Rohit started informing each other about our calls. We compared our telephone calls and the numbers seemd to be same.so we realised that the same company had called us both about the job offer.Yestuday they registered me in cvbuzz. And I had a doubt about the money part, so I told them that I will pay offline.so after registering the person gave me the deposit number and the holders name.Rohit had got his deposit number through sms.we where suppose to pay the cash offline today. But I thought why they want us to pay the cash before giving us the full security of the job.I told Rohit that I thought it was a froud call.So we both researched on the net.And found the above comments. we also planned to visit the company were Rohit was promised a job.We went to the location.the company was there but was in a bad shape and probably closed. And we also realised that there was no branch of skoda near to our location.
so we made the conclusion that the call was a fake.
so the offline payment really saved our money.
And most of the fresher get the call as they are innocent and are not aware of the current scenario.
It is advisable to do all payment if any in an offline mode.now a days online banking have put a lots of people in trouble. And its also required to always consult a friend or any relative about any job offers that come through any site.

I thank all of the people for their above comments.
thanks guy's since 6 days i am getting call from cvbuzzz a girl called sunena called me so many time's to the number([protected]/[protected]) so i just thought that hope fully its some shine.com reference call when i log in to the web site they asked me fill the form and pay 1750 which is for them a very small amount so after that immediately i cross verify regarding company and i got your comments which help me to loss 1750rs thanks guy's thanks a lot
