Here's my terrible experience with Dell and their customer care service. On 24 October, 2015 I bought the Dell inspiron 3542 (CI5/4/1TB/2GB/WIN8) and I have not been able to use it without an issue for even ten mins at a stretch, for the last three months !!! Despite two painfully long re-imaging sessions at the "Dell Exclusive centre", the laptop takes 45 mins to boot and an average of 5 mins to open a 5 slide presentation. Dell is "unwilling" to replace the machine and offers sales solutions as an alternative. As someone who has owned an Inspiron 1464 in the past, without a single issue, I am highly appalled this time ! I am disappointed and shocked at the response to my issues, and believe my expensive laptop purchase is a complete waste!!!
