Dell India — Incorrect accessories delivered
Myself, B S Nabar, visited Dell India website in March 2020 and shortlisted XPS 15 7590 Notebook for my Son. At that time there was 4 items on offer with the purchase as below:
1) Dell laptop backpack, 2) Sennheiser HD blue tooth headphones, 3)16 GB pen drive and 4) Wireless Optical Mouse. I located a DELL showroom near me at Kharghar Navi Mumbai Maharashtra. My wife and son went to the showroom and purchased the above laptop for Rs.165000/- as per price mentioned on the Dell site . At the time of purchase as there was partial lock down the items on offer were not available and the Dell rep named Ganesh assured us that we will get the items on offer once the lock down is over. As Dell is such a reputed company we trusted him.At that time we even asked him as the offered items are not available can he give us a printer of the same cost instead. He expressed his inability and declined and said that he can only give items mentioned on the site. After two months of opening of the lock down and much deliberation and 3 visits to the shop, we were finally given the offered items, however instead of Senneheiser HD Blue tooth headphones were given some cheap INTEX wired headphones.
Today Ganesh wasn`t present in the shop and some Mohammed kadri was present. when I contacted Ganesh over the phone he displayed hostility and went back on his words and said that he is doing me a favour by giving the items. Request DELL to look into this matter and resolve this ASAP. Such a treatment towards customers is not expected from a reputed company like Dell. Also Ganesh should be taken to task for misbehaving with a customer.
