[Resolved]  Dell India — incorrect warranty dates

I have got a dell inspiron 15 5578 from reliance digital in navi mumbai. I ran into battery and display issues after which i checked warranty. I got the laptop on october 1st, 2017 and the dell support website is showing that the warranty starts from september 18, 2016.
Reliance digital suggested me to contact dell via telephone support or go to service center. The telephone support kept would check my details and then redirect me somewhere else in their support team which then do the same.
And i want my laptop to get repaired with the display and battery issue, for which the service center would deny because of warranty out of date.

I feel cheated and want my laptop to get exchanged for a good working model.
