incorrect warranty dates

I have got a dell inspiron 15 5578 from reliance digital in navi mumbai. I ran into battery and display issues after which i checked warranty. I got the laptop on october 1st, 2017 and the dell support website is showing that the warranty starts from september 18, 2016.

Customer service experience

Could not give a rating lower, unfortunately. Took my dell inspiron 15z and they told me that the parts (A back panel and some hinge related parts) will take at least a week to get. They kept my laptop at the service center for absolutely no reason during that time. Came back to find out that it will take another week for the parts to reach, i took my laptop back seeing no end in sight. I had already lost about inr 1000 for them to just open...

Faulty replacement

I bought a DELL Inspiron N51 laptop in June 2011. The warranty expired on 22 June 2012. Very coincidentally, the laptop developed an LCD issue on 20-Jun-2012 and I brought it to the attention of DELL and they replace my LCD and motherboard free of cost.

I’ve just come out of court from the hearing to decide my claim for compensation against Dell Computers.

If you have read my blog, you will know that I chose to take Dell to court at the end of a long dispute regarding two Inspiron 1545 laptops I ordered pre Christmas.

My company submitted my PF withdrawal papers to Bangalore PF office on 19/June/2009 . I did call PF office to inquire about the status on 20/July/2009.. As a process they confirmed it would take one month after submission of papers.......Yet i have not received my PF Amount..its been more than 4 months...would like to know the current status...the current online status appear as "PF Papers not received by this office"br...

PF Not Credited A/c-KN/BN/24960/22173 submitted on May-25-2009

Dell International Services India Pvt. Ltd. Bangalore sumitted a PF withdrawal request on 25/May/2009 to The Regionsl Provident Fund Commissoner No.13 Raja Ram Mohan Roy Road, Bangalore-25.

Yes, like everyone else, i was dupped by the dell (Yet again) i was not happy with my desk top from a few years back and i should have not repeated the same mistake, ordering from dell again! So, i am partially to blame! But i was in a bind and had to purchase a laptop fast and didn't have neither the time nor the resources to consider another alternative (Or at least a little more educated before making a costly commitment like this)!...
