Dell India — problem not resolved under warranty period | |
My dell inspiron 5000 series laptop had this issue with its back flip cover, it hasn't undergone any physical impact in any manner but the hinges began creaking and soon the back flip cover started coming off from one side of the laptop. I contacted the dell support team as it was under warranty period (Less than a year since i bought it) and they refused to undertake the repairs under warranty citing that it's not covered under the said warranty. They say that the product has undergone physical damage, but as i clearly said, it has never fallen or undergone any sort of physical impact. This is highly unprofessional and tampers with the faith in such a big brand name. I had insisted on buying a dell laptop cause of its name, and now i seriously doubt its product. Less than a year, even with careful use such issues and that too not being resolved despite being under the warranty period is highly unacceptable. Was this information helpful? | |
