DGCA — Non receipt of Ticket cancellation refund from Cleartrip.com

Address:466 sector 6 MDC Panchkula.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Air ticket for 5 passengers was booked through Cleartrip for INDIGO airlines, for route Chennai-Chandigarh sector TRIP ID.[protected] for travel dt. 26.4.2020.
Due to un avoidable situation of COVID-19, we cancelled the ticket on 20.4.2020.

Indigo confirmed to me that the refund amount have been credited to Cleartrip account to refund it to me, within one week of cancellation.

In return, Cleartrip, inspite of various reminders & calls, has not remitted the cancellation amount to my account, till date i.e. 9.8.20.

Cleartrip has repeatedly sent mail to me, mentioning false statement that the refund will be credited to my account, but did not provide the MT details to me.

Past few months is posind a testing time for all o[censored]s due to COVID -19 pandemic, wish to bring to your kind notice that Cleartrip has caused additional agony & mental harassment to me & my family, by not meeting the committment of refund of cancelled ticket.

I leave it to the good office of DGCA ( as deemed fit ), to get my refund back along with the PANELTY TO M/s CLEARTRIP for not meeting the committment for refund & causing harrassment & mental agony to me for the past more than three months.
