I vikas sharma advocate booked cab on dotcabs from ramoji film city to malakpet on 25.05.2015 and the time was mentioned as 08:00 pm to report at ramoji film city. My booking reference no.[protected]Innova-ohr pp 15km) at 11:03 am on 25.05.2015. Dotcabs says that they will intimate customer about vehicle number and driver details 20 minutes before the time of reporting but i not received any call and finally i called dotcabs at 07:50 pm for the details on that they informed me that their is a delay in vehicle and if you want you can cancel booking but i clearly told that they should send the vehicle as i have booked. Finally they send me message about details of vehicle at 08:00 pm stating that ("your cab no. Ap13x6579, pilot: md. Kaleemu, dc.150, cell: [protected] / [protected]"). Later i received a call from the driver of alloted cab that it will take another one to one and half hour as he was at airport and it will take time and if i can arrange another vehicle i can arrange or i was supposed to wait for one to one and half hour. I was waiting with my family and with other relatives who came from jaipur to visit hyderabad though reporting time was 08:00 pm, later i make another arrangement of vehicle outside ramoji film city for rs.1500/- though i was supposed to pay rs.1000/- as ramoji film city to malakpet is 28 kms. And finally i cancelled my booking after making alternative arrangement at 08:35 pm after waiting for half an hour. On another side the dotcabs have their condition that they are going to charge for the waiting period or if their is a delay on the part of the customer then why should dotcabs is liable to pay waiting charges to the customer on their default and damages. I feel embarrassed in front of my relatives who came to hyderabad on visit from jaipur. Dotcab is charging rs.36/- per kilometer for the ramoji film city stating that they count ramoji film city as outstation though it is hardly 13 kilometer from hayatnagar.In city limit dotcab charging rs.24/- per kilometer. Then why should dotcabs be liable for the damages and waiting charges to the customer on the default of dotcabs. Vikas sharma [protected]
Consumer Case was filed before the Hon'ble Consumer Forum Hyderabad and the Hon'ble Forum directed the Dot Cabs to refund the extra fare and also gave direction to pay damages. And as per direction Dot Cabs paid the amount and damages.

    I was a big fan of dot cab because of there exceptional service. The call center, the cab drivers were very polite. But now a days they have reduced their the quality of service. This time I really had a bad experience with dot cab. Yesterday night I booked a cab for my relatives for today 6 am for airport and they confirmed me the fare of 690 for 40km + 15/each extra km for indica. I agreed. Next, driver came on time. But they sent me verito instead of indica. When I asked driver about that it was 6:15 and he is saying he will leave and another cab will come. How stupid they are who does not understand the value of time. I asked him to carry on the trip as we didn't have time to wait another cab. Next, called to customer care regarding this. They said pay 690/- indica chargee only. As it was not me but my relatives were traveling, I requested multiple times to their supervisor to inform the driver about the fare so my relatives will not face any issue and the dot cab supervisor agreed. However after reaching airport he asked the extra amount if 163/-. Also I got to know the call center supervisor didn't bother to update to driver. Before that I had raised another complaint i.e. unless you ask the cab driver does not put a/c on. I had booked a cab for some of my relatives in summer and it was very hot that day. But my relatives didn't know there is AC and the driver also didn't ask or put on the AC. Now there is no GPS tracking available. Now I am not happy with dot cab. Santosh

      Hi, I have booked cab with Dot Cabs many a times and almost all times cab has arrived late.. booking numbers: B001847, B001864. Worst thing is these people would not give us any chance... they will call us before 5 mins of reporting time and will tell that they will be late by 45 mins. Customer service is worst of all who can give no explanation at all... For sure I will not opt this service again in my life time

        Hi team, I'm resident of hyderabad. Booked a cab on 4th apr, 2015. At 12.30 p. M This is to inform my experience with dot cabs & have some points to describe. Worse service No response Got delayed for my company meeting Delay of more than 2 hours (They intended me to wait for 2 hours) After 2 hours they said we will cancel the cab service So my sincere suggestion is to think before booking dot cabs Please plan your journey with other cab services.

          Booking ID : B000120 (Innova - 1hr20km) I had booked the cab from Secundrabad station to Miyapur on 7-March-2015 and I have received a booking confirmation message for the same and got a SMS that driver details would be provided 20 mins before booking time. However, on the day of journey I haven't received any cab driver details before 20 mins of journey as informed in the message. When I call the customer care, to my surprise they say that cab is not available and can arrange after 11AM. This happened for the second time . They take the customers for granted. I had to incurr additional expenses though I planned well in advance because of dot cabs.

            I booked a 'Dot cab' with booking no. B001405 on 28.02.2015for 12:30pm in Hyderabad from ferozguda to IGI, Airport. When even at 12:30 cab has not came, i called them again and i got reply from a lady that she will talk to her supervisor and will try to arrange the cab in next 15-20 minutes. After 30 minutes i got the call from a dot cab driver stating that he will reach ferozguda in next 20-30 minutes. At 13:50( late by an hour) cab had reached and dropped me at airport but i missed the flight just by 5 minutes. i lost Rs 10500 because of mistake of dot cab.

              We have booked cab on wednesday evening from mangalhat to miyapur and we had medical emergency as our girl was admitted in hospital in miyapur. We got the confirmation of booking but no driver details were provided till 20 mins prior booking time. I called the customer care and asked for the driver details where i have been told the cab will be 15 mins late even though i mentioned that we have medical emergency. My wife also called couple of times to get the details and cab due to the emergency, but the service was so pathetic and the lies were told about the cab availability. After so many follow-ups we got the driver details 15 mins late than the expected time of cab arrival which was even frustrating. But this was not enough, we got a call from driver saying he is 45 mis driving time away and will reach after an hour to make it more pathetic and frustrating experience. Finally in frustration we had to cancel the cab and opt for auto after the worst expereince in our crucial time of requirement. If the cab company couldn't provide prompt service in medical emergency they could have communicated and we would have opted for other transportation option. Please never opt for such a company which is full of lies and doesn't care about the customers.

                Hi All, I have used DOT Cabs service on the 24th of December from Secunderbad Railway station to Madhapur via Manikonda. The customer service representative of DOT Cabs has recommended me to go for the Rs.600/- (Two hour Package) since my trip was via Manikonda (drop). At the end of my trip at Madhapur, the driver of the taxi (Habeeb Tay) has collected an amount of Rs.1300/- from me for the entire trip cost. I paid the amount without a second thought thinking that it was the actual cost of the trip. I called the billing department of DOT Cabs to send me the detailed bill for the above billed amount and to my surprise, I see that the driver has billed only for Rs.600/- as the trip cost and not for Rs.1300/-. I have written a complaint to the billing department of DOT Cabs and also to the Feedback section on their website. I have not heard back from them yet. My Booking Confirmation number - 0022 DOJ- 24th Dec 2014 I want to post this complaint to help other people not to become a scapegoat like me. I recommend you to call the customer service of DOT Cabs if you feel that you are being overcharged for the trip before you could pay the money to the driver.                   I have booked a dot cab for an package of 2-hour 25 kms from dotcab mobile app and it states 400 rs and extra km charges is 18 rs. There is no where mentioned that this package is not applicable for city outskirts. I have travelled for 26 kms which would cost me 418 rs. But the cab driver costed me 730 rs which is nearly 200 rupees excess amount.

                    I booked a cab from dot cabs for 10 00pm,[protected]. My pick up station was cybergateway, hitech city, hyderabad. It didnt came till 10 pm so after calling them about the cab delay they were saying to cancel the booking. So, they were not customer friendly nor providing good service. Worst experience with dot cabs.

                      Very disappointed with the services.. Never expected that dot cabs will cheat like regular auto walas.. Ap13y4123 (Xylo) Booked from kavadiguda to hafispet and when v checked our car meter reading and google maps it's showing 22.2kms and dot cabs meter was showing 35kms and when i called to Complaint on 24242424 and she ruidly said we have to pay the full amount as per meter.. When v asked the driver for receipt he denied givin it and took 600 and vanished away.. Such a worst experience and will never ever choose dot cabs and also inform all my friends n relatives to be aware of dotcabs..

                        I have about to catch a train to tirupathi at 2000hrs on 7th sep and booked a cab from dot cabs to pick us at 1800hrs. This cab guy came at 1800hrs and started. I informed cab driver, don’t go by tankbund there should be heavy traffic due to ganesh immersion. Without any intimation he take diversion and reach tankbund and telling that he assumed that there should be less traffic, eventually missed the train i had an alternate arrangement to travel to tirupathi and completed the rituals. Now, i lodged a complaint to the dot cab management on same day and had multiple calls. Till date 12th sep there is no response from them. I am looking for the extra money spent on the alternate travel arrangement i took to travel to tirupathi

                          Bad service by dot cabs yesterday[protected] i needed a cab and i booked it on saturday[protected] booking number [protected]. They did not update me car driver details till the pick up time. Nor did they inform me earlier. When i called up they said they cannot provide service immediately. They gave the details only around 45 minutes after the pickup time and the driver reported another 45 minutes later. By then i lost patience and left by auto.                             Hi, yesterday(4/May/2013), I had to travel from Hyderabad to Bangalore with my wife, aged mother, mother-in-law, and my new born (2 months old) kid. We had around 12 baggage bags and my train was from Kacheguda RLY station at 7:05 PM. I need to travel from Dilsukhnagar. So, I booked a cab in dot cabs (Innova) (Booking ID : 2391) for 5:45 PM. I called them for the booking around 2 PM, so they had enough time (around 3 hrs) to arrange a cab for me and they confirmed the booking. But, I didnt recieved any message regarding the cab and the driver details till 5:20 PM. I called them and enquired about it and was told that they will be sending an sms within 5 mins. But they didnt sent any sms and after contineously calling them, they gave me the driver's mobile number around 5:40. I called the driver and he told that within 5 mins he will reach my place. I called him after 10 mins and still he tells the same. This drama continued till 6:20 when I went to some place to pickup the cab from some bus stop. We started around 6:30 PM with lots of hurry, tense, and we reached the station around 6:55. Now, another drama started from the driver saying that he will not accept the credit card (while booking, they had an offer of 10% discount on credit card payments and I told them that I would be paying through CC in that case). Considering the train schedule, i could not able to argue with the driver but payed through cash. It took around 20 mins for us to reach our compartment with all the luggage carried by the porters. Fortunately, The train was delayed by 15 mins and we could catch it and had the travel.

                            I was told by the driver that he recieved the confirmation on the pickup only after I called them couple of times which was just 5 mins after the actual pickup time. And all the time, the driver was lying saying that he will be reaching us within 5 mins (the usual stuff which all the drivers tell always). I called the dot cabs office to strictly complain on it but there was no forum where we can lodge any complaints to their higher ups. Hope, this can be taken forward so that no body can keep their important travels at stake trusting these stupid travel agencies. Out of my frustration, I had very great words to define their stupidity.. but this forum is not the right place to do so... :)

                              Missed train due to delay in arrival of cab

                              I have about to catch a train to tirupathi at 2000hrs on 7th dec and booked a cab from dot cabs to pick us at 1800hrs.
                              These cab guy came at 1900hrs and eventually missed the train.
                              I had an alternate arrangement to travel to tirupathi and completed the rituals.

                              Now, i lodged a complaint to the dot cab management on 9th dec and till date 26dec there is no response from them.
                              I am looking for the extra money spent on the alternate travel arrangement i took to travel to tirupathi.

                              How can i book a complaint.

                                I had a most pathetic experience with Dot Cab

                                I was picked 1hour 50min late from the confirmed time yesterday. They dint really bother to inform that they cannot serve on time and kept on lying when I called them 8times for the status enquiry, after a heavy call waiting for each call. I had to wait with my family till late night..

                                Booking serial number 2893 and service request date: 1st Nov 2012...

                                I am extremely unhappy with Dot Cab and its service commitments.

                                Note: The customer feedback form in your website too doesn't confirm if the submitted request is sent successfully; receiving a acknowledgement or response to the feedback seems distant dream.

                                Take care of your customers or someone else will

                                  one of the dots cab driver picked me up by mistake from my company hostel and then charged me 200 Rs. for 100 meter drive and over that abused me saying that i am an educated person and should have cheked before sitting in the cab.
                                  The administaton is incabale of tracking the driver though i have given them the exact details stating the vechicle number and the time and place.
                                  No action taken by the management.

                                    Here is a story how dot cabs confirms indica and charges 250+ extra:


                                    On 17/05/2012 22:16 hours i booked a cab on dot cabs[protected] and was sent the following sms (From [protected]):
                                    Dear customer, thank you for choosing dotcabs, your booking for 18-may-2012 3:30 am, booking no: b000404 is confirmed (Indica-city to airport).

                                    On 18/05/2012 02:21 hours i received the cab driver details (From [protected]):
                                    Dear customer, your cab ap11tv1282, chauffeur: sdazmathullak, dc no: 1050 with cell: [protected] /[protected] will reach you as scheduled. Thank you. Dotcabs

                                    On 18/05/2012 3:45 am cab arrived, took almost 45 minutes to find my house! Finally when my aged mother/self reached the airport the boarding gates had closed, and i had to incur an additional expense of rs1900!!

                                    However my main complaint is as follows:

                                    Why did the driver take rs 800 from me when i booked an indica for rs 540??

                                    I called dot cabs on the following instances and complained :
                                    19/05/2012 2:29 pm - was assured the complaint would be looked into and i would be given a refund of rs 260 (Ie. Rs 800 less rs 540).
                                    06/06/2012 5:00 pm - agent farhan informed me no complaint has been registered - how can this be? Fresh complaint no. 220 registered.

                                      On 06 jan 2012 i hired a dot cab no ap12tv0552, chauffeur - syed riyaz, dc no - 1061, from shamshabad to risala bazar. I dropped one of my friend to balanagar and proceeded to my destination. On the way chauffeur asked another rs 250 over and above rs 12 extra per km+ 500 for 40 km package. On my objection he spoken to one of his office person and i could clearly observe that he was insisting him to talk to me. He forced me to talk to 24242424 no three times. All the times the operator asked me to pay the only package amount not the extra 250. While this argument was on he stopped the vehicle at trimulgherry.

                                      What i realised from this occurrence that it is chauffeur who wanted to charge me extra not the operator. I request dot cab to kindly ask the chauffeur to explain, i will be eagerly waiting for reply. We used to hire the cab few times in a month for going to duty at shamshabad.

                                      dot cab — not reached in time

                                      Booked a cab at12.49pm on 27th Nov 2009. Booking No-B00109 ( to report at 1.45 PM)Sainikpuri to Apollo Hospital At Jublee Hills. Doctor's appointment was at 3 pm. Till 2 30 PM no response and when called, after 7 minutes the response was giving the driver's mobile no. When contacted the driver , says he is at Malkajgiri. must take 25 minutres to reach Sainikpuri.Doctor's apointment got cancelled.

                                        I booked a cab from dot cabs on 31st dec for night 1:15 a. M. I also recieved confirmation sms from dot cabs that the same has been booked. Till 1:15 i did not get any details of the driver or call from dot cabs. Post which i called up dot cabs which had long waiting time to get connected to customer care, once i got connected they confirmed that i will get cab with in 5-10 minutes which again i did not recieve. I again called up dot cabs to provide me driver number and details of cab. After calling dot cabs twice i recived a message of cab detail. I called up driver and found that driver is not even on the way to reach my destination moreover he is dropping someone and told me that i had to wait another 15-20 minutes. After waiting for 15-20 minutes i still did not get the cab at mid night and a very unsafe area i called up driver again and he had asked for the address again. I explained him and still could not find him in next 15 minutes. Then i decided to arrnange some alternative and managed to reach home somehow. It completly spoiled by new year party and also had hard time waiting at a very unsafe area. No follow up call from dot cabs or they did not even bother to check if thier customer got the service or not.
