DTDC Courier & Cargo — paid extra amount for fast delivery but not delivered at time | |||||
My brother used DTDC courier service (Dtdc Courier, 36, Ashiana Trade Centre, Ground Floor, Adityapur, Jamshedpur - 831013) to send me Rakhi on 23rd August at 10:30 am for Rakshabandhan which was on 26 Aug 2018. The staff who was weighing courier and making bill told to my brother that sending Rakhi to Pune via a normal channel (Rs. 140.00) will not be delivered before 26 Aug but if you send it through Green Channel (Rs.300.00) than 100% it will be delivered within 72 Hrs. I have received my delivery on 27 Aug 2018 at 15:30. I have complained to the delivery boy he replied that I am not the concerned person to complain please raise your complaint to DTDC courier office. I reached to courier office to complain & to send another courier to New Delhi and have a discussion regarding this issue. They replied that it's not their fault and suggested me to raise a complaint against Jamshedpur Courier service. I stay with my friend, his family sent him Rakhi on 18 Aug 2018 at 12:35 pm from Kolkata Via Indian Speed Post service (Rs. 42.00) his Rakhi we have received on 21 Aug 2018 at 07:30 pm. 1. So what is the benefits o[censored]sing DTDC fast delivery service and paying more money to them? 2. Now why my delivery didn't reach before Rakhsha Bandhan? 3. Who is responsible for the late delivery after paying an extra amount? 4. Indian Speed Post took 4 days with Rs. 42.00 only & DTDC fast service took 5 days with Rs. 300.00. DTDC hits me on my emotions & spoiled my feelings & all the happiness of mine on the day of Raksha Bandhan. DTDC should know the importance & feelings of Rakhi. It's not only the Rope to tie & knot in hand but its the love of Brother & Sister. There is no limit on the amount which I can claim, anybody can't guess the amount to fulfil the pain which DTDC gave me on the day of Raksha Bandhan. I don't know how much to claim on them for the mistake they did, Whatever they want the can pay me. But I don't want someone to face the same issue in future. Was this information helpful? | |||||
