[Resolved]  EaseMyTrip.com — baggage entitlement for student

I had booked a ticket from Delhi to Dublin on 23rd July EMT60868627, ticket no.[protected]/1/1 through easemytrip. Etihad airways extends to students 10 kg additional luggage entitlement.
From 21st I had been mailing and phoning easemytrip customer care seeking advice on how to book the ticket so as to avail of the additional baggage entitlement. Each time I was assured by the team to go ahead and book the ticket and subsequently to mail easemytrip with the Visa etc details and they would get my additional luggage entitlement processed.
I booked the ticket on this assurance and immediately mailed the requisite documents to them.
I have now been informed by them that this entitlement cannot be processed from their end and that i should contact the airline.
Etihad says that they too cannot help me now since the ticket has already been booked and it is the service provider's duty to process the baggage entitlement at the time of booking the ticket.
Eithad informs that they would charge Rs.17600 approx for 10 kgs additional luggage. Easemytrip says that they are very sorry but they can do nothing.
