Easy Cabs — Poor chauffeur's service, overcharging | |||
Dear Sir/Madam, Please refer to booking no A[protected]. I had booked a cab while at Noida, on 7 Jan, 2014 for the next morning, ie., 8 Jan, '14, (6.30 am) for going from Noida, sector 25 to Ghaziabad. 1.Though the chauffeur reported in time, he was rude in behaviour and more than that, not at all conversant with the route. He told me in the begening that he did not know the route and I had to guide him. Throughout, he kept asking me the route; thank God I knew the route, otherwise it would have been disastrous in the windy morning of January. I think it will not be too much to expect from a good cab service to employ only those who know the routes they use. 2. I used the cab from Noida sector 25 to Ghaziabad railway station (booking was for another destination as there was no such choice on the website and this was told on telephone). By any stretch of imagination the distance is not 23 km (Rs 504/) which was charged. In fact the distance is 16.3 km. This I felt while I was there but could not help. This is unthinkable that a company like Easycab would keep their metres such that customers would be overcharged. Please get the issue resolved.
