A request for correction i. E. For inclusion of my middle name "kumar" had been made on 16/5/2017 with required documents online but unfortunately my request has not been attended seriously.

Voter id card’s main purpose is to make a voters eligible to participate in government activities, including general voting. It is also considered as an main identity proof with which one can cast individual votes in the electronic voting machine during assembly, lok sabha and municipal elections in india.
A person’s voter id card is an extremely important identity document in various situations especially if travelling from one place to another (Within the territory of the country or outside of it) an id shows all details about one’s residence.
For travelers also, voter id is an essential identity proof to show at the ticket counters in airports and at railway station as a valid identity proof. It helps government and security agencies to avoid any adverse circumstances
It can also be shown as a proof identity during hotel accommodation or at places where entry is restricted to people who have valid id proofs
Voter id is used as a strong proof of citizenship of india and is considered as primarily id card to demonstrate a person’s identification.

From the above it may be admitted that due to wrong issue of voter card i have been facing problems and deprived of my legitimate rights.
In spite of my application for inclusion of my middle name "kumar" through online with valid documents i have not been issued right voter id card due to failure on your part and not any internal control mechanism in the concerned department and failure of infrastructure.

Hope, after receipt of my e-mail my request will be viewed seriously so that my middle name i. E. "kumar" may be included in my voter card in no time.

Due to multiple voter id card created by eci, i have submitted form 7 for deletion of the name from electoral roll on 04/08/2017, but there is no progress of application status. So please take this matter seriously as after deletion i have to apply for new voter id card with correct information in another state. Find below the reference id for both application.

Sir,
I did not receive my voter id. Few years back my voter id was made but the picture in it was of sombody else. I requested the person concerned to do the changes, its still in pending. I don't have any details with me. What shall i do because as i have heard that to get the duplicate one we will have to get fir copy for it. For me going to a police station is next to impossible. What should i do? Can something can be done online without any police station requirement?

There is a spelling mistake in father's name in my voter id. They asked for birth certificate to make this correction. My bc contains only the first name of my father name so they asked me change this in bc which is a very lengthy process. I produced aadhar, my parents marriage certificate as evidence where the name is spelled correctly but they are not ready to accept those proofs. Correcting name in birth certificate is the only option?

Hi my name is Rajat Sharma & I received my voter Id card today 24/08/2017. The voter id card # is ACB1762599. However, at the time of collecting the voter id card I was asked to pay rs 25 which is not the process. Ideally it's provided free of cost by the local assembly. The voter assembly constituency name is shakurbasti # is 15, station # 35, 36. I have attached the receipt of rs 25 that I was given. I have the action to be taken on this asap else I have to escalate this at the higher level.

I wanted to change the residential address in the electoral list and submitted an application form online in the "National Voter's Services Portal". I have submitted this request on April 10, 2017. I even received an SMS confirmation with a reference number - OLX[protected]. Since then, this request has remained in the same status. No change and no communication from anyone till date. It is still awaiting a BLO to be appointed.

I have submitted a request even for my wife's voter ID.

Really appreciate if this can be resolved at the earliest.

It had been nearly 5 months i have applied for voter id online. My reference id is 01475b31a13f6fc0. Viewing the status of voter id i am getting that the form is submitted, but i have not got any confirmation regarding my voter id. Since the time of application i am getting the status of my application as submitted but unable to get any confirmation from your side. Take a look into this issue.

I got this kind of SMS for track your voter card but seriously there is no action is taking by up govt . Very bad govt. Work, they didn't have qualified staff for for doing this easy task . I was checked many time on net but it's always shows that same status while checking status even it's not gone for next process how election commission staff work I was also called through my smartphone they do not pick the phone ... My and my wife names are mijssing in electoral roll of gujarat state. We hold election cards of gujarat since 1996.

We are surprised to know that our names were missing in the voter list. The assembly election is due in gujarat in 2017-18 and therefore we have raised concerns.

Please find the details of our election cards that were issued way back on[protected]. Our residence as mentioned in the election card has remained unchanged.

Hello i am from ludhiana. My booth numbers are 157, 158, 159 from gill ludhiana. My complaint is against my locality b. L. O. That our blo' s are not working. They are not fulfilling there duty. Our blo's names are nirdosh sharma, baljeet kaur, gurcharan singh. They hadn't enrolled any new vote. As per the guidelines of the. Comission the blo's had to sit at the polling booth but they refused and misguiding the public that they hadn't received any new form. Please take action against them.
