[Resolved]  Elica — apex 60 bk - service center refusing to install

I requested for installation of the product, the guy came only for inspection and charged 250 rupees which will be adjusted against the installation charges.

He quoted 1550 for one 6 inch pipe and we will need 1 and half of it. The prices mentioned on the website and what was told by customer care was almost 50% less than that. So we thought to confirm with customer care and told the guy we will let you know the installation date. We asked the guy if we get the pipe that he mentioned (Aluminium and flexible 6 inches) ourselves will he install it. He said yes and confirmed this even with customer care.

Now when i asked him to come for installation, he kept on promising but not showing up for 2 days and now the service center is refusing to install and says we will not honor your warranty as well as we would not do the registration and also will not refund the part installation charges he has already charged.

The service center in question is shivoma international.

Are they hired to install or mint money by overcharging for ducts? Maybe you can ask them to charge for installation more than using such shady tactics.
