I belong from a rural area but my home adress is clear as living in a city or town.
It's my first order from firstcry app and maybe or will be the last too. Just as of yesterday date[protected], my order package was about to be delivered.
At the beginning, the delivery boy call me and asked, if he can deliver the parcel now at around 10:00am at my given home address. He also mentioned that he was new at the service as delivery boy and I understood his situation as he will not have much knowledge about my location. Although he's permanent residential maybe from 6-7km away from where my home location is. I understood his problem and even navigated him to my exact home address. Later the delivery boy said that in a moment he'll be out for delivery but not received any call, waiting and leaving my other important duties and work, until I called him back at the provided number later that evening around 5:30pm. He answered and replied "who are you", I said you were about to deliver my package so, will you be delivering now? His replied was a direct 'No!' That's too a little rude which I felt, I made myself calm and talk to him politely asking 'why' any prohibition at this hour? He said, 'There is no facilities of delivering to home address', I was stunned and shock. Then I ask him 'you could have told me that earlier too and why are you talking rudely, he said can't you understand that I cannot deliver the package and I told him that then why were you wasting my time making me wait till the evening making me leave my other important duties', and even told him that if there was no facilities in home delivery than why would your company provides such home delivery facilities in the app firstly! Later, what happened was truly shocking, I felt as if I was some kind of a 'moron' or what! He said that it's none of my business, I cannot deliver your package. This made me angry like hell! As if I could do anything to reach upto him and punished him, and hearing his words I believe any person on my place would feel the same too, but I calm myself and told him that I'll take legal actions against you. He said do whatever you want, if needed he'll provide me the complaint helpline number. Really! Later, at night came a message o[censored]ndeliverable of my order and to give some feedback. On the feedback there was an option to related issues with the delivery boy and other related issue, I chose that option and gave feedback, writing every bit of the details about what had happened with me that day. It's been almost 14 hours, yet no response from the customer care.
And later today[protected] around 10:00am the same delivery boy called me, although this time I couldn't received directly as I was in a very important meeting with my stuff. Later, as soon as my meeting got over I called the delivery boy and ask him if he'll be delivering my parcel, he said that he came upto half road and that I didn't receive his call and so he went back somewhere nearby to deliver others parcel, I explained him about the unavoidable circumstances on which I was in and instead he started lecturing saying it's none of my concern, and that he wouldn't deliver the parcel. I was shocked again and started thinking really! I've never met such delivery boy or as a person until today. It made me kept going thinking over and over.
Later, on today's argument he mentioned that he's been in this field of work for many years, as that day he just mentioned that he was a new delivery boy! when I told him that, 'should I teach you how a delivery boy should be working and how should a delivery boy should deliver a package'? Hearing this he hung up the call.

I wonder how, such known company would let this happen or doesn't care what their customers faces. I solemnly request the firstcry company to look at their other delivery branches in each state or country where they have set up and on the working agent's as delivery boy to only hire those well mannered in speaking and good skill in behaving with the people. Because I believe that there are many other well mannered person who are waiting for the job as delivery boy.
