[Resolved]  Flipkart — can't even tell you delivery date

Hi,
I ordered a product on 7th dec 12.36 am as in when the sale started. The seller is omni tech retail which is flipkart's own seller. The delivery date given was 9th dec. I did not receive any msg/email even on delivery date and the status still shows packed only. I contacted flipkart and the solution which i have got is that i will get to know about the delivery date after 3 days which is so ridiculous. This is a birthday gift. If they cannot delivery or there is a delay, that is fine with me but at least give me a delivery date.
It is as simple as calling the seller and asking about this order number but no, they have told me to wait till 12th december to just hear from them.

Amazon is so much better than them, they update you on everything and ensure everything is on time. Flipkart on the other hand is not even telling me why the delay or when will i get it. All i asked is if you cannot deliver it, let me know so i can order it from amazon but they are just giving me run around. They are saying there is a team and only that team can contact seller and that takes 3 days. Imagine from a customer standpoint, how pathetic that service is that i have to wait 3 days just to know if and when i will receive my product. I am from mumbai which is connected pretty well so they cannot even use the excuse of remote area and it is not even raining here as of now.

When i asked for a manager, the manager did nothing to resolve the issue. I asked them to give ma grievance redressal email address or a phone number, they did not give that. I told them to transfer the call to manager, they put me on hold for 22 minutes and then disconnected.

I told them numerous times that it is a gift, it is a gift, please contact the seller and get the information, but no, they are not willing to take even one step ahead. Their managers and representatives say with full confidence that we have updated the details on our website so you know the status, we also sent you the messages and emails. Then i told them nothing is sent and nothing is there on website so they said sorry we cant check it but we thought it must have been sent. Such a lousy response.

I am worried now that even if i get my product, it will be used or bad and flipkart will harass me if i have any issues with the phone.

I have bought one plus 5t right now and it is coming tomorrow. It is ordered from amazon and they will surely update me about the status. That is how great their service has become. Flipkart is just showing offers and then harassing customers.

I am tired and frustated dealing with the customer service agents of flipkart. They could have resolved this on priority in like one hour but they did not. Promises mean nothing to flipkart and hence the day is not far when they are going to go down the snapdeal route. Is there any grievance officer or any escalation team i can contact regarding this?

The customer complaint about the delay in delivery. We had interacted with the customer and informed We would like to inform you that you can place a fresh order for the above same product with the seller 'MobilekiDuniya' with any of the payment options (Cash on Delivery or by Debit Card/Credit Card/Net banking) and share us the new order ID by replying to this mail so that we can track it, once the same is delivered, will refund the difference amount to you account. The customer placed fresh order and same is delivered and we have initiated the refund of Rs.3441 to customer bank account and same will be credited in 5 business days. Hence closing the complaint from our end.
